PS3 question

I was about to play a game then my ps3 turned off, then I tried to turn it on. When I tried to the light blinked green for a second then red and kept blinking red. Any help please

do both lights kick on for the first few seconds only to flash red and turn off?? and what model is it? 60gb? thats bad news if so.. you will have to send in for roughly $150... hope thats not the case.

its green then it makes a noise and turns red and keeps blinking red, it doesn't turn off, 40 gb

Good to hear, I know exactly how you were feeling. All of a sudden my 40gig stopped playing discs and I was actually going to have to do something other than play games at night. I've been watching alot of TV lately. It's expected return is on Tuesday. I can't wait.
