I simply believe we would be amazingly arrogant to believe WE are the only life in the universe. It doesn't neccessarily have to be super-biengs and flying saucers (though those would be MUCH more interesting than fungus.) it could be bacteria that proves that LIFE exists other places than here.- 165 replies

Now you believe NASA? I'm really confused now. LOL If I lie to you about the color of my underwear today, that doesn't mean I'll lie next week. ;D I believe NASA was under a funding crunch, a presidential deadline, and lied about the Moon. But, since that doesn't float for you, how about this? http://arxiv.org/ftp/astro-ph/papers/0312/0312639.pdf- 165 replies

As far as the 400 miles, this is in reference to the distance INTO space that we have since traveled. Not the total distance from one mission to the next. We haven't penetrated any DEEPER into space than 400 miles.- 165 replies

I have so many questions about the lunar landing(s) that it would take another four pages of rebuttals. I have already linked to my favorite Moon conspiracy site, (even though it may be gay that I have one in my favorites) and there may be a rebuttal for everyone of them. My favorite though, is this: "I receive several letters from Apollo believers on an almost daily basis telling me that I'm completely wrong, however, consider this. The distance that Man allegedly had to travel to get to the Moon was the equivalent of 30 Earth diameters. Now compare that with the greatest distance that Man has travelled since then (in the Shuttle) which is 400 miles. That is the equivalent of just 1/2 an inch from the Earth compared to the distance travelled to the Moon."- 165 replies

Please enlighten me, WHAT IS the sun made of? Before you go google the Sun's make up, my point is, without physical exploration we only have theory. We had no idea that Mars had polar caps until just the past few years. We are always learning, and stretching our knowledge by exploring and keeping an open mind. When we decide we KNOW, we quit learning. We become the Catholic church during the time of Galelio, when he was put on house arrest for years for suggesting that the Earth revolved around the Sun, instead of the Earth being the center of the universe. Disclaimer: I am not attacking God. Tow won't let me.- 165 replies

And also Chili, why is it we haven't SEEN anything (Rover, flag, or a coke bottle the lady in Australia seen during the live feed) since? We have powerful enough equipment, we have sent multipule different orbiters to collect pics and data, the side of the moon we supposedly landed on 6 different times is the same side that faces earth, yet no rover. All i know is: I didn't study rocket science, physics, geology or anything closely related to any of these. I do know that NASA employs some of the brightest minds in the world. All of which have great credentials, unlike your fag, i can only form a conclusion based on scientific data that i read about. To think that not one person involved in an alleged hoax, from what would have to be a cast of thousands to pull it off, would come forward and say "Yea you got me". There would have to be producers, directors, wardrobe, lighting, stage hands, etc. Lots of people. And to call the astronauts, who served their country with honor and dignity ,a bunch of lying fakes is just nuts. No one is attacking astronauts first off. We have had fake hero's before, and I am going to discontinue this if your going to personalize it Player. I am not attacking anyone, my stance is a simple one of we were in the middle of a race against Russia, and even though NASA clearly stated we were years away from achieving a lunar landing, Kennedy up and threw em in the fire by putting a date less than 6 years away to complete it by. They gave the odds (NASA) of a successful landing at .00014%. That my friend is NOT debated. There are anomalies, there are all sorts of reasons why I believe we haven't landed on the moon. The footage just doesn't support the claim IMO. This is my opinion, you wanted a debate, and so I engaged. Don't take it personal man. I am a firm believer in this country, and stand behind her and the men and women who protect her. I ALSO realize that NASA is a private entity, that has infused itself into our Government. They do some good, but they are funded by OUR tax dollars. That in itself justifies my right to question them.- 165 replies

Again, I don't feel charged with proving the Lunar landing as fact. I simply believe there are too many inconsistencies and unknown to BELIEVE what I've been fed. We used to believe alot of things we have found out were false. SOMEONE had to question them to get the truth. That be me. You be the one who believes what your told, so I prefer to present you with anomalies, and let you decipher them. ;D- 165 replies

To your explanations of Radiation, I give you: Radiation plays a big part in space travel. Solar flares could have affected the astronauts at any time. The Apollo leaving Earth would travel through 2 specific areas of very high radiation called the Van Allen Belt. The first field is 272 miles out from Earth. The amount of radiation in the belts actually varies from year to year, but every 11 years its at its worst when the sunspot cycle is at its highest. And guess what? 1969 to 1970 was one of the worst times to go, as this was the time where the radiation was at its peak. I have had numerous internet chats with sceptics who say that the radiation would not play a part in the missions because Man would have not been in the radiation belt for too long. My answer to that is, when Dentists or Doctors take X ray pictures they either leave the room or stand behind a sheet of thick lead to shelter from the radiation. Why did NASA only use a small sheet of aluminium to protect the astronauts when they knew that the radiation levels in Space and on the Moon's surface would be many hundreds of times more deadly? And why would they risk their astronauts to such conditions? In 1959 Bill Kaysing was privy to a study made by the Russians. The Russians discovered that the radiation on the moon would require astronauts to be clothed in four feet of lead to avoid being killed. Why didn't NASA heed their warnings? Did you know that the US Government tried to blast a hole in the belt 248 miles above Earth in 1962? During Operation Starfish Prime a Megaton Nuclear Bomb was used to try and force an unnatural corridor through the Van Allen Belt... Unfortunately, the radiation levels actually got worse, not better. What they created was a third belt that was 100 times more intense than the natural belts, and as estimated by Mary Bennett in 'Dark Moon - Apollo and the Whistle-Blowers, by 2002 this artificial zone will still have 25 times more radiation than the other 2 belts. There is no agreement to how wide these radiation belts actually are. Dr James Van Allen, the discoverer of the belts estimated that they were at least 64,000 miles deep, but NASA say they are only 24,000 miles deep. Each Apollo craft spent approximately 4 hours within the belts.- 165 replies
