  1. I hate to be the bearer of bad news but... buying cheap cables will without a doubt give you shitty quality. Especially when everybody is worried about refresh rate. A cheap HDMI cable will only slow everything down or receive interference and degrade your sound and picture quality. (Be sure to check the transfer rate.. i.e. 10.2 gbps) Also dont forget the term line loss... If your cable is too long you can lose signal that way. Also this is the new system I bought... I bought the rocketfish rear speaker kit The monster cable, banana connectors. Monster sub cables, Optic, and HDMI 800 cables. Klipsch Quintet III $499.99 Klipsch Synergy Sub-10 $399.99 Yamaha RX-V463 5.1-Channel Digital Home Theater Receiver $349.95 200.00 160.00 205.00 565.00 $1249.99 Retail total 565.00 My total $684.93 total savings
  2. http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8743602&type=product&id=1202648988902 This is a great system for the money certainly not the best out there. You can upgrade the speakers later with a great set of Klipsch quintet 3's and a sub 10. Your gonna need another HDMI, and use an optical cable to hook up the PS3 to the receiver. And a little bonus get the rocket fish wireless rear kit. making your rear surround speakers wireless from the receiver. Hath [OGC]
