  1. That's the biggest problem right there IMO. I have no idea on what the numbers of Americans are that go to Canada for treatment but I would be willing to bet it is nothing compared to the hundreds of thousands coming to America from Mexico and other places to clog up our emergency rooms. Believe it or not the illegals without insurance who come in with a stab wound or pregnant and need someone to deliver their baby don't get turned away. If I was a Canadian paying higher taxes on everything I buy to cover the cost of health care for Americans who just want to get treated for free I would be pissed. Bottom line is IMO at the end of the day someone or some people have to pick up the cost for the people who are a drain on the system.
  2. There are pros and cons to both systems IMO the problems with government run health care are more. I know with the U.S. Government they are so bad at running other things they do run I don't want to throw another thing in the mix. The private system in America is plagued by frivolous lawsuits and extremely high malpractice insurance among other problems. As for the above mentioned kaiser permanente I would stay away from them if I had a choice they are well known to cut corners.
  3. Same here I got laid off in December just before Christmas and having been working part time and odd jobs ever since. It would be nice to get back to the good ol days of bonus trips to lake Tahoe and Hawaii but truth be told I would settle for just having my old full time job back.
  4. This game looks amazing I prefer third person shooters but this one shows some promise. I would like to see some more details on online play.
  5. That health care isn't free there is a reason why things cost so much more in Canada. And I would rather live down here where people trek hundreds of miles through the desert with little water and food just to live here. Or the ones who ride on boats through the ocean for a week with little food and water just to live here last I checked Canada doesn't have this problem. No... it isn't free, we pay for it in our taxes. But, and this is a big but, EVERYONE can recieve it! No questions asked. It's peace of mind that is nice to have. Isn't this more like your current situation? :-[ LOL it's true America has a lot of problems and IMO it's probably going to take pushing the reset button on our government if you know what I'm saying. Bottom line is America has a corrupt government bound and determined to take us into socialism while country's like France warn us not to because it doesn't work. I could get into to more detail but I don't want to break the rules against political discussions. "The problem with socialism is that eventually you run out of other people's money [to spend]." 7. That sounds like it would have been a great question for love line. Where are Adam Corolla and Dr. Drew when you need them. In all seriousness this has to be a joke or are some people really that dumb?
