  1. I can understand a company having rules and procedures but at some point a human being has to look at the situation and make the best decision. Kind of like when you go through security at the airport and see a 65 year old lady being forced to take her shoes off like she is going to shoe bomb the fucking plane. lol
  2. I recommend getting some add ons to help make fire fox a little more functional for you. I hope this helps. I like Download manager: 2 options I use the second https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/201 https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/26 Adblock Plus: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1865 IE Tab: This changes a fire fox tab to an internet explorer tab in seconds https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1419 Windows Media player plug in for Fire Fox: This will make it so you can watch embedded windows media player videos on websites. http://port25.technet.com/pages/windows-media-player-firefox-plugin-download.aspx I also recommending the google spell checker if you don't have it already.
  3. I was thinking the same thing weren't the invites supposed to go out on the 6-2-09?
  4. GTA 4 was not an exclusive... In Fact Rockstar North Sold out on the PS3 releasing two exclusive DLC packs for the 360. It is hard to find any concrete info on the sizes of games because they have yet to be ripped. Technically some people are learning to rip them now using linux on the PS3 but it's in the early stages. Metal Gear was well documented that Kojima complained about the size of the Blu Ray not being enough to fit his MGS4. Resistance was reported to use 22gb but until they are actually being ripped from the disc it will be hard to find info that isn't biased. I will keep looking though Chili @ Bigmoney We don't know that the Cell Processor is extremely complicated and very difficult to develop for? Really.. This has been one of the most well documented problems of the PS3 by every gaming media outlet that exists. It's one of the biggest if not the main reason why almost every title has been delayed on the PS3. The PS3 is the PS3 and the most important parts of it aren't going to change it's a console not a PC. I could understand technology moving faster than the developers if it was a PC but the core of a PS3 is basically the same as it was at launch and will remain the same until it's discontinued. The next major change won't come until the PS4 that's how console gaming is.
  5. Nothing on Wiki that I could find but here is a few useful links http://www.computerandvideogames.com/article.php?id=171290 http://www.neowin.net/index.php?act=view&id=34764 http://www.psxextreme.com/ps3-news/2966.html
  6. Metal Gear Gran Turismo (will) And all the other best PS3 titles use more than a DVD can hold. As a matter of fact Metal Gear had to be trimmed down because it couldn't fit on the Blu Ray.
  7. Ok but but enough of the GT5 was announced before forza crap. The PS3 is a much more complicated machine and much more difficult to program for. Also I think everyone will understand why it took so much longer to develop GT5 once it comes out.
  8. Hardware wise the 360 is no match for the PS3. Where the 360 has gained ground is the fact that it is much easier to code games and microsoft has spared no expense in spending money on exclusives such as timed exclusives for MW 1 & 2. I wouldn't call rally and Nascar useless crap as they are a big part of the racing scene. Who cares what kind of cars the 800 are I'm sure there will be plenty of everything.
  9. LOL yes it has been in development a long time but you know what they say "good things come to those who wait." Also I would rather wait then end up with another Socom disaster.
  10. He's gonna have that on his mind anyway.... This is a man we are giving advice to lol. I'm not saying party at a strip club all night I'm just saying being able to get into 1 is part of turning 21 gambling as well. I can't help it I live in sin city gambling, drinking and titty bars all go together out here. lol
  11. Gran Turismo 5 will be a full version of Gran Turismo 5 prologue. If you saw or played that game the level of detail was amazing from the in car camera to the pieces of asphalt breaking off the edge of the road on the corners of the tight mountain courses. GT5 will be the bench mark for all racing games for the next decade.
  12. You were trying to pick a fight. Someone up above posted R.I.P Gran Turismo so I felt the need to defend a title that I and many others are a huge fan of. As far as the ass clown army there are plenty of Xboxers that do similar things even though honestly I was laughing when I typed my first post it was intended to be a joke although that's hard to get across on a message board. The standard customization of cars in Gran Turismo is legendary and we would be utterly shocked if it didn't exist in this game as it has in the past. Gran Turismo on PSP will have 800 cars and 35 tracks I would be surprised if GT5 doesn't have more than that.
  13. Isn't your section up there somewhere? ^^^ Forza will own Gran Turismo. Why? Because it's actually going to be released. Graphics and level of detail will be better for one. Gran Turismo will most likely fill a blu ray disc which last I checked Xbox still doesn't have. The actual driving physics and depth of customization of the cars will be 100 times better. The amount of cars and tracks will be much better. I could probably go on but I wasn't trying to pick an argument just make fun of forza since I'm pretty hyped for GT5 and don't think any other game will compare in the racing genre.
  14. Forza will be gran turismos bitch.... Forza will be walking around the yard holding on to Polyphony's pocket. Thank you that is all.
  15. F1 does have a game, but no sequels, it is a good game. But EA hasn't made a decent all around NASCAR game EVER. Well I play GRID. I think it's better then GT. Not as many cars or tracks, and all that, BUT I like the driving better and online better and car damage ACTUAL car damage is cool. Gran Turismo 5 will have car damage. No more smashing into a guard rail and using it to help you turn which was my personal tactic lol this game will need some serious skill to be good at.
  16. The game is taking so long because there is a ton of tracks which take like 3 months a piece to complete not to mention the level of detail on the cars. I personally love rally and formula one. As far as Nascar goes it could be awesome especially since the EA series is pretty lame. No driving game will have anything on gran turismo after this game.
  17. I enjoy a long island iced tea but for your 21st you should get smashed at a strip club it's the best of both worlds.
  18. There is no possible way someone could steal air strikes and UAV's those things are to war as bread is to peanut butter and jelly. If anyone had their air strikes and UAV's stolen it's the U.S. Military.
  19. This is some funny stuff sorry if it's been posted here already.
  20. Open mics are GREAT in a party.!! The way that Killzone had them was somewhat tolerable with the squad open mics. Not everyone can play in a library. Often when I play my son is talking in the back ground or my wife so I have to mute my mic. It seems that there isn't very many people willing to do that. Instead they see a game with open mics and decide they are going to scream stupid shit, fart, sing and whatever else they can think of. In the few months when I played COD4 I almost never used my mic and it didn't matter anyway because no one ever called anything out and the commentator announced any relative information anyway. The problem with not using a mic in COD 4 was all the mics came through my speakers which usually meant I had to play with my surround sound muted because of all the garbage nonsense coming through the speakers. Then they finally came out with a mute feature which was great except at the beginning of every single game I had to go through and mute every single player on my team and the opposing team. This is one of the biggest reasons I stick to Socom the PTT mics filter out a lot of this garbage and most true socomers have zero tolerance for people acting a fool people just get voted simple as that.
  21. I hate both equally as much but I don't hate them as much as I hate open mics and re spawn I'm not sure why people tolerate any of that garbage. ???
  22. I think it has something to do with a certain cable ISP changing their servers without warning (RR or Time Warner maybe?) Either way the above posted fix seems to be working for people.
  23. This fix was found on the PSU message boards by a member of my clan. Make notes of your current settings before you change them in case you need to go back. 1. From your PS3's XMB, navigate to Settings > Network Settings > Internet Connection Settings 2. Choose "Custom" 3. Then choose your connection type (wired or wireless). Continue through the setup (usually just selecting the default settings) until you get to "DNS Setting". 4. At "DNS Setting", choose "Manual". Here, you will enter the OpenDNS server addresses. 5. In "Primary DNS", enter 208.67.222.222 6. In "Secondary DNS", enter 208.67.220.220 7. Continue to the end of the setup (again, likely using the default, already selected values). 8. Test the connection when you get to the end, and pray for the best!
  24. I don't condone the beating that bush took in the media but IMO I think he brought it on himself by showing weakness. He came into office with a strong plan and after 9-11 he had an even stronger plan but as it went on he wavered and started trying to appease and with that the onslaught started. No president can ever show weakness. I personally would love to have a General George S. Patton as president but I don't think there are any of those types of people left anymore. In all seriousness though this conversation needs to come to a close politics are very divisive.
