i can play my ps3, four ps2's, and COD2 on my computer all at the same time without any noticable lag in any of the playstations, and a game ping around 130 on the computer.

i live in western wyoming and have a shitty 1.5mbs dsl connection. i guess my secret is very little internet traffic in wyoming and i use a dsl switch instead of a router. i tried a lot of routers and they all sucked. the swith was cheaper, more effective, and has 8 ports, ANY of which can be in or out ports.

My son and I have been playing socom in the same home for years now. And NEVER experience lag, or any problems for that matter. I am hard wired to a linksys, and he is wireless. Granted I have over a meg upload and close to 11 meg down. It sucks when people have problems though.

Well that's great stunt!! glad to hear it. And thanks for the compliment, it's not like I think I got the answer to Socom's connection problems its mostly from having them for so long myself that I got anything to say about it in the first place.

 

 

p.s. I believe that's the first "Goat post" that actually did some good around here!! LMAO! hmmm maybe all I need to do is make them even longer to have em be beneficial...
