New CoD4 maps "in action".....

Recommended Posts

Looks like PS3 gettin the big screw job again. Why doesn't IW and Activision just let PS3 owners know they are in bed with Microsoft so we will quit bitching.

Just got a holla back from our good buddies at Activision that the Call of Duty 4 map pack will cost 800 points and be ready for download on April 3. You will get all 4 new maps which look to really add some more diverse gameplay to an already stellar game.

If you have not bought COD4 yet, just wait a few more weeks. They will be releasing COD4: Game of the Year Edition on April 1. This will include the full game and a FREE token code to download the map pack. The game will be the $59.99 MSRP with the map pack at no cost. Not bad. For full details, click here.

You know what would be cool? If Loot Ninja were to giveaway a Xbox360 AND a PS3 copy of Call of Duty 4? Is that something you would be interested in? Stay tuned.

[EIC Update] Just heard from Activision. The Variety Map Pack will be EXCLUSIVE to the Xbox 360 for the first 21 days of release. Sorry, PS3 owners

PS3 owners are getting what they paid for. Plain and simple. Xbox guys pay for their online service so wouldn't you think they would get things PS3 owners wouldn't get. It is all about money. And the only thing that will make it even for both consoles is if Sony charged too.

lol, it took awhile but I "finally" completely agree with Red. You get what you pay for and thats NOTHING! I would gladly pay a yearly fee for a dependable PS3 online service. All the PS3 owners who brag about not paying for anything to play online, this is the fallout from that very thing. So, just like Red said, why wouldnt they take care of the people who pay for thier online service?

And dont start replying with "Home this" & "Home that"....... Until its out and working perfectly its not an option and cant be compared to XBL.

I somewhat agree with you, except one thing. XBOX owners send their scratch to Microsoft, not IW or Activision. Its corporate America at its best. It sucks because you know they could release the map pack at the same time, but IW and Activision are bought and paid for.

Money talks, and bullshit walks.
