Good lord, this has got to be the best bit of gaming-related nonsense I've seen this year. Well the greatest gun-shaped gaming nonsense I've seen this year. The Silver Wolf Full Metal Rubber Band Gun sports a folding front grip, built in flashlight, laser pointer and enough steel to pistol whip someone into unconsciousness. Ho Ho Ho, it looks like Christmas is coming early for fans of the Playstation 3 system. According to a Blockbusters' memo leaked to us today Sony is permanently dropping the price of the discontinued 40GB model of the Playstation 3 starting Sunday. The price drop, which was verified by calls to a number of Blockbuster stores, will drop the 40GB model to $360 and an PS3 40GB bundle with an HDMI cable, Spiderman the movie and Transformers the game to $400. Stores that have trade-ins of the PS3 40GB will be selling it for $360 as well. While the $40 or so price drop isn't much, maybe it signals other drops in line for the other versions of the console in the near future. Or perhaps Sony is clearing stock to make room for a Tokyo Game Show announced new SKU for the Playstation 3. Update: Despite what the memo said, and what was repeated to us by a handful of Blockbuster employees across the country, SCEA says that this price cut did not come from Sony but rather is something Blockbuster is doing, likely to clear stock.

Rescue Me Season Five The show was renewed for a fifth season of 22 episodes. In an interview with Jon Stewart on The Daily Show on Thursday, May 15th, 2008, Leary revealed season 5 had been delayed until March 2009 because of the writer's strike, but that all 22 episodes would air on consecutive weeks. Joining the cast will be actor Michael J. Fox, who is set to play the part of Janet's (Andrea Roth) new love interest.

My clan does something similar, on Friday nights we get on COD4 and change our clan tags to [GoaT] and we get into a room and right away all you can hear are a bunch of guys going BAAAAAA!!! over the mics, of course most of us are on our 5th or 6th drink, so it tends to get pretty loud. ;D

Call of Duty: World at War keeps nearly every Perk fro COD4, but adds a host of new ones. M2 Flamethrower This puppy is a high-level unlock, but it's worth the wait. This is hands-down the best game flamethrower we've ever used, projecting a far-reaching stream that torches enemies and vegetation. Pyromaniac Like Sonic Boom, this perk boosts your damage from Molotov Cocktails and Flamethrower. Satchel Charge Much like the C4 explosives in COD4, satchel charges can be placed near important objectives to discourage enemy infantry. They'll also inflict big damage on tanks, provided you can place them under the treads. Bouncing Betty World at War's version of the claymore mine. When triggered, Bouncing Betties live up to their name by springing into the air and shredding all nearby personnel with shrapnel. Bazooka Selecting this perk grants you a powerful bazooka, which can destroy tanks and help clear enemy strongholds. Flak Jacket Grenade spam becomes a thing of the past with this welcome enhancement, which will enable you to survive a close-range blast from Martyrdom users. Shades Flares are the WWII equivalent to flashbangs, but they last much longer. Equipping Shades will nullify the blinding effects. Gas Mask Equipping this mask protects you from the disorienting effects of Tabun nerve gas, a new grenade type in World at War. Second Chance The new and improved version of COD4's Last Stand. When you're killed, you'll drop to the ground armed only with your pistol. The catch: if a teammate is also packing Second Chance, he can revive you. Fire Proof This Perk provides protection from Flamethrower and Molotov Cocktails, handy if your opponents are overusing them. Try buying the summer house in the mall. It's much better than the original one. ;D I've been walking around this place for a while and Viper got it right it's just a giant chat room where you can hang out with your friends.
