Makes your head spin don't it? Now you understand how some of us perceived it.

Good job man, congrats!

You da man Crusty. Oh and WTF was that a picture of BB? You don't remember that item Backlash? A company came out with that product, I think it was called Frag FX or something like that, anyway, it let you control Socom and other shooters on the PS2 with a mouse for more precision. I bought it too see if it was more precise and it was. The only problem was when you tried running and turning quickly like you have to in Socom, it would never turn as fast as you needed it too so in short it was useless unless you were always proned out sniping. >

To each their own, it looks tacky to me, my opinion alone I guess. Looking at it makes me think of... ... that item certainly made waves didn't it?

Have they ever released a PS2 game on the store? Thought its only been PS1 games. I would be willing to pay $9.99 for that game, to give it a try at least. But see that's the beauty of it, you don't have to play it with a "lollipop". Its available in both forms. So if that's the reason people are up in arms already, it really has no merit. And when you say "gimmick", you mean in the sense of SOCOM, right? Of coarse. The "lollipop" might work, and I won't knock it if it does. But I've always thought of Socom as one of the most mature shooters out there. Hard to see it that way now. I won't be using it unless it happens to be the only way to the play the game accurately. Till then it'll stay a gimmick in my mind.
-
One thing I will say... when I first played and got hooked on Socom all those years ago, I never expected one day Socom would be played with a lollipop. Don't want to knock it hard yet, but Socom IMO should always be played with a normal controller! I think it's just a gimmick...

Saw this about a year ago, never loses it's humour though. I still find it hard to believe a woman can misplace her man like that... most have their guy on lock down. -
Just stating a Northern perspective, no harm no foul Tool.

I highly doubt China's athletic program is as sophisticated as the United States program. But it's nothing to get in a snit about kids.
-
I don't think you can argue that the U.S. spends the most per capita on its athletes. You dominate most athletic events world wide. Talented athletes, yes, but the money spent on producing those athletes creates a strong argument in favor of the money game. Winter Olympics are our bread and butter, we are a Northern Country obviously. When the summer games come, I'm sure we won't be in the top 15 medal wise.
-
I guess none of the other big "competing" countries have much for summer activity. Activity? Or as big a budget dedicated to producing medal winners? Theoritically, China should win each and every medal in every event, if they were to spend as much as the US does on it's athletes. China does have the largest population and it stands to reason, they would dominate if it was a top priority for them to do so. But that's just my theory.

Damn right!

Well played U.S.... I was at work and having to go into the inmate areas to watch the damn game! I kept hearing inmates scream whenever we scored so I was pumped! They kept banging on their windows and letting me know when we had scored. Then the last second goal by the U.S. pushing it into overtime was a nail biter! We actually had two punch outs in my area leaving me with loads of paperwork... but I took my dinner break and watched the final overtime period and the fantastic finish with Sid the Kid! Again, well played America, it was a pleasure...

Those huge fists weren't too shabby either!

Took about 45 minutes for me... but I was downloading Heavy Rain as well.

Why does resetting your router improve your connection?
101--BB--Xanthe replied to IRISH BULL's topic in General Discussion
I think it comes down to the type and make of your router. I have the Extreme Gaming router made by D-link. I've never had to reset or reboot it. It's designed to prioritize my bandwidth, giving precidence to gaming first. I never hear "that guys lagging" in any game I play online. I bought top of the line, and I think that makes a difference in this case. The only time the router is reset is during a power outage. But I never reset other than when it's done due to the power going out.- 14 replies

Great demo... can't wait for the game now. Apollo was brutal I thought, it was more chance than anything else when I took out his chariot. As a side note, I beat GOW2 on titan mode and that was the single toughest game mode I have ever played for any game. > Can't wait to beat GOW3 on that mode!
