I took a Defensive Knife course last year with my S.W.A.T. team and the Knife expert showed us this picture. The guy in the picture is a Police Officer, skilled in martial arts of some kind. He thought he could take a guy with a knife and obviously came up short. I said to the instructor at the time, "I think I'd rather take a bullet than go up against a knife"! The one thing I learned in the course was... If you are ever in a knife fight, count on getting cut, it will happen. The smart one though, knows how to defend against a blade and where it's "better" to get cut in that defence. :police:

This is NOT A RUN and Gun game. It takes patience. It's takes planing. It takes tactics. This game is what I've been waiting for. This is not a Military "video game". It's a military simulation video game. obviously there's still a game feel or else it wouldn't be out there but what I'm getting at, COD lovers will HATE this. So in other words, it takes intelligence? I'll be picking my copy up today! I've been following this title for a while now... :police: -

No worries Rockman, LPK is well respected by 101. I am curious though, that grill that is in question, I've shot people through the grill standing at one of the corners and it's registered I'm hitting someone but I've never killed someone with a gun through that grill. It's like the grill takes on the properties of water, making the person under the grill nearly impossible to kill. > Maybe we should test that out as well! :police: -
I tried to attach an external hard drive. It was a no go, didn't even recognize it. Not sure if the hard drive has to be formatted a certain way or not. I have a Western Digital 160gb external hard drive and I have no problems with the PS3 recognizing it! Maybe it's the size of my 2 1TB drives that's the problem. My PS3 will only recognise my usb drives.

Hmmm.... I believe that was my grenade that is in question. Great game by the way LPK! As I recall, in our match there was one [LPK] member left, I knew he was in the tunnels and I had a "a ha" moment! I thought to myself "I wonder if he's where I would be posted up watching the tunnel control point?" I threw the grenade onto the grill outside the box room big door and managed to kill him from above. To be honest, I have no idea where [LPK]'s man was but the grenade killed him regardless. I agree, if a grenade is thrown with the intention of killing through solid ground that it's obviously an exploit. In this case however, the grenade was thrown on the grill where anybody beneath it would have been pizza. I'd like to test out though if it's possible to kill through solid floor as this is in question. Again, good game [LPK]... your always tough as nails! -

Apparently your friend doesn't know anything about firmware updates. My Storm out of the box froze several times. After the firmware update, not one freeez up... and that was 3 months ago. Again, I love my Storm and Itouch, I use them equally!

As I do on my BB storm! I like my unlimited data plan that I have for my BB and I can't find anything comparable with the Iphone. IMO... I have the best of both worlds with the itouch and BB storm! ;D

I concur... I love my Itouch, and wouldn't give it up for anything, but my Storm as my email, messaging and instant messaging machine couldn't be replaced by any product out there! It's simply irreplaceable!

Oh so it's a feature on the Storm to see it like that? I see it on my Iphone with Safari exactly the same as I do on my computer. I didn't say it was a feature Crusty, I just prefer having a no hassle quick browsing experience on my mobile phone. I'm sure the UF site on the blackberry loads a heck of a lot faster than the full webpage on Safari does. Actually I know it does because I have the Itouch and I tried it using the WIFI. Comes down to preference. Most other sites show as usual on the Storm, I for one though am glad the UF site is mobile friendly. -

I've got the Storm Mike, and the UF forums are the same for me. It is easier as there's no graphics for the blackberry to render. I just wish our 101 site was mobile friendly. Your website probably shows as a complete website on the phone as well. I don't think you can switch it to a normal viewing site on the blackberry... and the only reason I can think of that one would want to see the full page is if they were modifying the website as an administrator or something like that. BTW... I love my Storm!!!! ;D -
Their is also only about a 3rd of the people on that will be on at 6........just saying. I will stay pessimistic until they can prove that they actually did something remotely close to what they claim. PS, not that it matters to me, but how BAD did they nerf the Famas? Guys on the Socom forums are saying the Famas has hardly been altered. I've never been irrtated by it so I'm not overly concerned about it's lethality.

my sister in law has the storm, and I dont like it.... it is jittery and locks up alot when I tested it... I used to have the iphone, and the storm isnt great... the curve is awsome when ya get things for it like (gps, iheart radio, slacker,pandora, ect.....) you tube app for curve.... Our front desk girl ahs a Storm and had the same problem. When she called Verizon, they had her DL a new update and it's been perfect since then. I was leaning towards the Storm when I come up in Sept, but I have been looking at the Tour now that it's out too. Yeah, the Storm from what I hear is a bit glitchy to start off with, but after updating the firmware it's a solid choice!

I have the curve, and I'm not impressed. Great for email but that's about it. It's lethargic and the programs aren't up to snuff IMO. I'm going to spring for the Blackberry Storm... I've heard good things about it and one of my co-workers has it and loves his. I would have bought the Iphone but my service provider does not support it. >

Wow... just perusing the MAG beta forums once I logged into GAP and it's interesting reading Seth Luisi's threads that he posted tonight. He's actually answering people's questions. Funnier still, some are asking him to add them as a friend so they can play socom together.
