With a library of over 50 standard edition titles, Ubisoft+ Classics adds new content monthly. As players roam thick forests, purple heaths, and ancient cities, they’ll uncover plenty of mysteries and side stories, and Assassin’s Creed Valhalla also gives players a chance to experience stories from Norse mythology – albeit with an Assassin’s Creed twist. Ghost Recon Breakpoint A military survival game, Ghost Recon Breakpoint will test players in their ability to survive almost as much as their prowess in open combat and stealth. Players take on the role of a Ghost special agent, sent to the Aurora Archipelago to hunt down traitorous Wolves. Aurora is a diverse environment, ranging from frigid mountains to dry deserts to futuristic cities, and each biome has unique advantages and disadvantages. Taking this into account will be crucial to survival – and taking out the enemy before they’re even aware they’re in danger. Far Cry 6 Antón Castillo is Yara’s brutal dictator whose relentless drive to produce Viviro – a purported miracle cancer treatment – leaves countless destroyed lives in his wake. Dani Rojas didn’t plan on joining the rebellion, but after an attempt to flee Yara goes horribly wrong, they fall in with the Libertad guerrillas and their fight to free Yara. As players explore Yara’s diverse regions, Dani will meet many Yaran citizens as well as animal companions that will fight by their side like Chorizo the dog, Guapo the crocodile, and Chicharron the fighting rooster. Watch Dogs: Legion London’s falling in the dystopian near-future. Underground hacker organization DedSec has been framed for a bombing, and now work to clear its name, take back London, and protect its citizens from police and organized crime alike. The twist is that anyone can be in DedSec, thanks to Watch Dogs: Legion’s unique play-as-anyone feature, meaning players can recruit and play as any NPC they meet in the open world – yes, even the “bad” ones. Each character has their own backstory and skill set, as well as technological tools and weapons, so choose your team carefully when planning how to execute a mission. Riders Republic US National Parks have been transformed into an extreme sports playground in Riders Republic. Snowboard or ski down the slopes of Mammoth Mountain; BMX through Zion; wingsuit across Bryce Canyon; and so much more. Attention Gran Turismo drivers! We’re excited to announce details of the Gran Turismo World Series 2024. Gear up and get ready for another nail-biting season as we start a new format – The Nations Cup and Manufacturers Cup will feature six rounds of Online Qualifiers each.* The best players will progress to four live rounds with spectators, culminating in the World Finals Montreal, Prague and Tokyo announced as host destinations for the Gran Turismo World Series Rounds 1-3 with the venue for the World Finals to be announced. Play Video The Gran Turismo World Series 2024 gets underway on Wednesday, April 17. Any player who has a copy of Gran Turismo 7 for PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5 can enter the series by heading to the Sport mode in the game. Once there, sign up for the Nations Cup – racing to represent your home country or territory – and/or the Manufacturers Cup, racing for your favorite manufacturer. First up from April 17 are the Online Qualifiers for the Nations Cup: six rounds played out over three weeks. From Wednesday, 8 May the action switches to the Manufacturers Cup, similarly with three weeks and six rounds of Online Qualifiers. ​​ At the end of the Online Qualifiers, the top players will be selected to attend the live events. In a change to the format for 2024, three live Gran Turismo World Series Rounds will lead into the end-of-season World Finals. The calendar for the Gran Turismo World Series 2024 live events is as follows: Round 1 – Montreal, Canada | Saturday, 6 July Round 2 – Prague, Czechia | Saturday, August 10 Round 3 – Tokyo, Japan | Saturday, September 28 World Finals – Date and location to be announced Fans unable to attend the live events won’t miss any of the action, with each round set to be broadcast live on https://www.gran-turismo.com/world/live/ and https://www.youtube.com/@GRANTURISMOTV. In the Nations Cup, the top 12 players (five from the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region; two each from the Central & South America, North America and Asia regions; and one from the Oceania region) will be invited to compete in all four live events. With the 2024 Nations Cup reverting to an individual competition, the 12 competitors will battle at all three Gran Turismo World Series Rounds and the World Finals. Points accumulated at each round will determine the overall 2024 World Champion. The Manufacturers Cup remains a team competition, but with a new twist for 2024. World Series partners Toyota Gazoo Racing, Mazda and Genesis are guaranteed a starting spot at each live event. The other top manufacturers from the Online Qualifiers ranking will create a total field of 12. In the Gran Turismo World Series Rounds 1-3, each manufacturer will be represented by their top driver from the corresponding region to where the event is hosted – Americas in Montreal, EMEA in Prague and Asia-Oceania in Tokyo. The Gran Turismo World Series began in 2018, and 2024 is the seventh season of the ultra-competitive SIM racing championships. In 2023, a thrilling World Finals played out before a lively audience in Barcelona. It was an unexpected, and first-ever, win for Team Nissan in the Manufacturers Cup with Ryota Kokubun (JPN), Mehdi Hafidi (FRA) and Mateo Estevez (ARG) taking home the trophy. Eventually, we all will contend with grief. It can come in many forms and from many different sources. Surgent Studios’ (founded by Abubakar Salim) debut game, Tales of Kenzera: Zau, is a 2.5D story-driven, action-exploration game all about facing those emotions and discovering how love gives us the courage to press on after a devastating loss, and it’s coming to the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog at launch on April 23rd, 2024! Players will take control of Zau, a young warrior-shaman from Amandla, who seeks out Kalunga, the God of Death, to bargain with him to bring his Baba back from the realm of the dead. Wielding two powerful masks imbued with the cosmic power of the sun and the moon in a beautiful and chaotic dance, Zau travels across Kenzera, a rich mystical realm inspired by Bantu tales, fighting tough ancestral spirits and platforming obstacles to find the 3 mighty beings that have eluded the God of Death. Zau will discover and unlock new powerful abilities and skills during his quest to become a worthy Nganga and reclaim his lost Baba. Players will find great Baobab trees during their adventure. These trees offer great meaning to Zau, as his Baba would take him to these very trees to meditate. While exploring these, you will witness those moments of remembrance and healing that Zau goes through without even realising. These enthralling visuals are accompanied by a captivating and enchanting original soundtrack by multi-award-winning composer Nainita Desai. Greetings. I’m Jaeho Hwang, the director and game designer behind Dave the Diver. I’m excited to bring Dave the Diver to PlayStation 5 on April 16, expanding the game’s horizons and inviting more players through the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog.  Dave the Diver is a unique hybrid ocean adventure that combines ocean exploration with sushi restaurant management. At the heart of the game lies the core gameplay loop, narrative, characters, and captivating mini-games.  Our journey kicked off with a simple concept: a diving game in which a deep Blue Hole serves as a mystical dungeon populated by fish that double as enemies and items to loot. In the early days of the prototype, the gameplay revolved primarily around catching fish and trading them for currency, but we soon felt that we could do more with these aquatic creatures.  This led to the introduction of a sushi restaurant mechanic that allowed players to prepare culinary delights from their underwater catch. Of course, this was enough to make for good gameplay, and as the lynchpin of our gameplay loop, this addition was praised in internal reviews. However, in an effort to spice things up and prevent monotony, we focused on our unique characters to create compelling and fun side content which ended up adding a dash of individuality to the experience.  Cooking contest While the initial gameplay focuses on preparing the menu and serving delectable dishes in the bustling sushi restaurant, players will later find themselves entangled in the culinary excitement of a cooking contest. This addition elevates the gameplay beyond just serving food and immerses players in a new cook-off experience that complements the game’s overarching theme.  Seahorse racing  Halfway through the game, players will stumble upon a new deep-sea mini-game allowing them to send seahorses to race through the village. With a variety of seahorses sporting unique stats scattered throughout the Blue Hole, the feat of collecting and racing these creatures adds a thrilling element to the gameplay experience.  Taking photographs Beneath the waves of the Blue Hole lies a diverse ecosystem, where players will encounter both aggressive and peace-loving amiable fish species. In the midst of this underwater tapestry, players can now enjoy the tranquil activity of photographing these peaceful aquatic inhabitants. Players earn rewards by snapping shots of these creatures without the need for combat or capture and presenting their discoveries to Udo, the photographer. You should also try your hand at photographing some fish that only appear at night! Duff’s rhythm Game  This is the most delightful twist that caught everyone off guard; What on earth is this rhythm game with an anime title song doing in the diving game?! One of our characters, Duff, an avid fan of Stra Stella – a fictional anime within the game – embarks on a musical journey to attend a dream concert featuring beloved characters. To inject a burst of dynamism we introduced this mini-game with a vibrant backdrop, steering clear of monotony and offering a refreshing twist to the overall gaming experience. We set out to present different gameplay elements to create a new kind of experience, mixing everything from culinary showdowns to rhythmic reveries. And, of course, it’s all brought to life by a cast of charming characters. Additionally, Dave the Diver on PS5 features haptic feedback and adaptive triggers for increased sensory engagement. Navigate the mysterious depths and feel the delicate vibrations in the variety of mini-games that await exploration in the deep-sea!  Also a reminder: get ready for this coming May, as the legendary Godzilla makes his way into Dave’s world!
