I would like to THANK everyone for your kind words and good wishes. We look forward to shooting it up with all of you very soon, perhaps at the next Midnight Mass(acre).... Crucible 3 clans will be able to play it up with APCers still. ;D See you online on COD4 or http://www.ravenfall.net

Well since I am from Wisconsin born and raised I think that would qualify me as "PACKERS" fan, not like the fair weather fans out there. As I said I hope they don't go under .500 because I am a realist and know that Rodgers has been hurt twice not playing football in the past 3 years. So I waiver on the side of caution when he is our only QB that knows the offense when a hall of famer is willing to come back one more year. But that IMO...

That explains a lot. LOL

Tsk, tsk SRS My fellow cheddarhead, I am sadened today August 7th 2008 the year of our lord to hear you say such things. :'( OK my take on this: He has never been the one chimmiing in to say he was retiring it has always been the press/media. "When is Farve gonna retire?", "Is this the year Farve, retires?" Like I say about all actors and athletes leave them the hell alone and enjoy watching them, other wise change the channel. Granite in WI it is on every channel but PBS shouldn't have it on it. LOL My personal opinion is: The Packers will have a under .500 record and both them ass clowns will get fired. I hope I am wrong because I want the Packers to do well but I think bad things are gonna happen now because of this.

Favre says of situation: 'This probably isn't going to work'
MaCoo replied to BIGDANIEL's topic in Playstation
No again your wrong. THe only thing that will change is where he plays. Unless you a proof I will consider this false! EA has said they are ready to put hin in another location. In fact 2 weeks ago they where showing game play with Jets, viking and tampa on him... LOL I can't believe you understood that. -
Ok now we know your the nerd of the twins. LOL

It was great meeting Maverick, Goose and Irish we had a great time at the park. I will say this Maverick and Goose are some of the most repectful young lads I have met in a long time. That went a very long way with me, SHO you have some great guys in your clan right there. I do think Maverick pulled his cord when he threw the 4 holes in the bags game that me and 46 were crushing them on before that. Irish glad you drove up almost from Indiana to hang out with us for most the afternoon and night. To bad another UFer couldn't have made but shit he didnt make last years APC meet either or the year before, or the year before that... Hope next year we get even more UF players to come to the meet, I need help beating the SHO boys.

We looked at that we think it might be just pixelization, the picture has been copied and pasted so many times it is bound to lose pixels. Look at the original I don't see it under the chopper.

Here is another angle of the same thing, it appears they use this as a normal HLZ for this.

I asked one of the other instructors here he is an imagery analyst instructor specifically for Air Order of Battle. He looked at the photo and said that it looks legitimate, he is looking for some more pics of the chinook doing things of this nature. Just remember the chinook is a hoover aircraft so it could feasibly hoover just over the roof or any object. Now I have seen live footage of a chinook drop it's ass end into a river not a lake with flowing water/currents while waiting for a team of seals to drive a boat up into the rear of it. Regardless wether or not this is real it is feasible for a chopper pilot to do this manuever with a chinook.

How do you explain the terrain coming through the rotors spinning, and in rough terrain like that having wash outs and trails is not uncommon to look like that.

I give up Omni but would a frog bump it's ass if it had wings? Mostly likely: It could have been a supporting helicopter or even a squad of troops. Combat photo guys get there shots any way they can. The soliders/Marines outside may just be the escort and crew of the chopper.

Option A: Drop the ass end down on the building top grab the troops and hostages and haul ass versus. Option B: Hover over the tree line drop a basket which takes about 30-40 secs to deploy then bring it back up, then drop it again etc. Option A: 1 minute tops Option B: 6+ minutes You tell me which one you would take if you were being extracted out of an hostile area? Besides that is a Chinook helicopter what do you think this is the Coast Guard?

When I first got out of the Marine Corps my first job was with the State Department. It was my job to show the bombings in Sudan in relation to oil fields, the articles of genoicide that we went through were just ridiculious. The final product and the report writing for it went to the Secretary of State in a briefing. If I can find my CD I will post a picture of it. So yes they do have assest we could use, hell we are starting a new Area of Responsibility in the Horn of Africa. As far as the numbers on the reports I can't confirm nor deny what is shown.

Hell just go to foxnews and read the headlines.. Mother puts baby in fish tank... Father stabs taunting kid in face... WTF ???
-
Well that is pretty easy to explain. The numbers don't lie and propraganda does.... :-\ There are not a ton of troops dieing everyday, there are several getting injuried. Most reports on tv show casualties not deaths, so you assume many are dieing. ASS-U-ME
-
Added them in.

Not sure Go to the bottom of the thread and click the pdf the stats are on page 10 or 11.
-
I will be on honest here idol soliders/Marines can be quite stupid. Motor vehicle accidents (Alcohol or non-alcohol related), suicides, training accidents etc.. It makes sense if you have ever been in the military before.
-
Well just remember casualties and deaths are two separate set of numbers. Casualties are equal to all the sick, lame and lazy's. Death your fucking dead.
-
I thought I would share this with everyone the numbers don't lie. The big bad BUSH killing all our soliders.. How does the commercial go - "Not a sermen just the facts" :-\ Military Losses, 1980 thru 2007 Whatever your politics, however you lean, and however you feel about the current administration, this report should open some eyes. Military losses, 1980 through 2007. As tragic as the loss of any member of the US Armed Forces is, consider the following statistics: The annual fatalities of military members while actively serving in the armed forces from 1980 through 2006 - by any cause **Statistics page 11: American War and Military Operations Casualties: Lists and Statistics Updated May 14, 2008** 1980 .... ...... 2,392 ( Carter Year ) 1981 .......... 2,380 ( Reagan Year) 1982 .......... 2,319 ( Reagan Year) 1983 .......... 2,465 ( Reagan Year) 1984 .......... 1,999 ( Reagan Year) 1988 ......... 1,819 ( Reagan Year) 1989 .......... 1,636 ( George H W Year ) 1990 ......... 1,508 ( George H W Year ) 1991 .......... 1,787 ( George H W Year ) 1992 .......... 1,293 ( George H W Year ) 1993 ......... 1,213 ( Clinton Year) 1994 .......... 1,07 5 ( Clinton Year) 1995 ......... 2,465 ( Clinton Year) 1996 .......... 2,318 ( Clinton Year) 1997 .......... 817 ( Clinton Year) 1998 .......... 2,252 ( Clinton Year) 1999 .......... 1,984 ( Clinton Year) 2000 ..........1,983 ( Clinton Year) 2001 ............ 890 ( George W Year ) 2002 .......... 1,007 ( George W Year ) 2003 .......... 1,410 ( George W Year ) 2004 .......... 1,887 ( George W Year ) 2005 ............ 919 ( George W Year ) 2006............. 920 ( George W Year ) 2007............ 899 ( George W Year ) Clinton years (1993-2000): 14,107 deaths George W years (2001-2007): 7,932 deaths If you are surprised when you look at these figures, so was I. These figures mean that the loss from the two latest conflicts in the Middle East Are LESS than the loss of military personnel during Bill Clinton 's presidency when America wasn't even involved in a war! (Unless you include Bosnia or the disgrace of Mogadishu, Somalia when Clinton failed to respond to terrorists; Remember 'Blackhawk Down'?) And, I was even more shocked! When I read that in 1980, during the reign of President (Nobel Peace Prize winner) Jimmy Carter , there were 2,392 US military fatalities! From what? How? I think that these figures indicate that many members of our Media and our Politicians will pick and choose the information on which they report. Of course we all know that they present only those 'facts' which support their agenda-driven reporting. But why do so many of them march in lock-step to twist the truth? Where do so many of them get their agenda? Obviously there is one shared agenda. Could it be from the most powerful Democrat family of the decade? Do you want further proof? Consider the latest census of Americans. It shows the following FACTS about the distribution of American citizens, by race: European descent ..........................69.12% Hispanic............... ...................12.5% Black .................... ...............12.3% Asian...................................... 3.7% Native American............................ 1.0% Other..................................... 2.6% Many of the media lead us to feel the military death ratio is off balanced compared to the distribution by race in America. Here are the fatalities by RACE over the past three years in Iraqi Freedom. Do the comparison yourself. European descent (white) ... .......74.31% Hispanic............................10.74% Black . ............................ 9.67% Asian............................... 1.81% Native American..................... 1.09% Other.............................. 0.33% I was surprised again. Our mainstream media continues to spin these figures (for political gain). Nothing more. It's all about politics. I hope that between now and November, intelligent Americans can decipher the facts from the spin, the spinners from the leaders, those who seek even more power from those that seek justice, and the dividers from the uniters. Over the next months let's be good listeners and see and hear who tries to divide our nation; and who wants to unite our nation; who wants to control how our money is spent and who wants our money spent the way we would spend it. Who seeks power and who seeks justice? Who spins the facts and who is genuine. (These statistics are published by Congressional Research Service, and they may be confirmed by anyone at: http://www.fas.org/sgp/crs/natsec/RL32492.pdf ) 'History does not entrust the care of freedom to the weak or timid.' - Dwight D. Eisenhower
