Modern Warfare 2 DLC

Anyone XBOX'ers get it? I'm reading its not working yet.

They finally got it working, but I'm not one of the ones that got it. They're probably playing it, that's why they haven't answered yet.

The problem was in the update.. they released the maps before the update was ready/available, so if you got the maps & tried to play, it wouldn't work. (until you got the title update, which wasn't ready til later)

 

You know it was just a bunch of punk ass kids home on spring break whining all over the xbox forums making a big deal out of it.. if you were at work & did it when you got home, it was the most simple & easy process ever. ;D

I got home about 7pm & had no problems at all, 3MB DLC took 3 min, update took 30 sec, & i was playing in less than 5 min from starting up my machine.

It's the downside of 360 getting it before PS3 i guess. PS3 wont have any excuses.. lol

Oh boo hoo. Had anyone else said it, I would have remained mum....but lets not forget your proficiency for dogging the ol PS3.

So there are no issues with MW2 on 360 currently?

No, not anymore. It was just the first few hours that the maps came out. Like chili said, they released the maps BEFORE the update, which screws things up.

Yea, like i said.. i got home & downloaded them after work & never saw any issues, & didn't even know there were any issues until i read about it, later.

Everything is honky-dory..

 

My only complaint now is that while the maps are new they make a "Stimulus" mode that includes new maps only, but plays randomly: Deathmatch, S&D, HQ.. I H A T E HQ.!!

 

I cant wait till i can go back to playing HC S&D with the new maps included into the rotation. ;D

Um.. Chili, you can. lol

 

The day AFTER the new maps were released, they added all new maps to ALL game modes.

 

So many people were complaining about the Stimulus playlist that they quickly added all maps to every playlist so you're not forced to play random game types. If you want to play every map HC S&D, then just choose the HC S&D playlist and you can play any map (as long as everyone in your party has the new maps, otherwise the maps will never show up)
