LOL, I wish they could stop the hackers, but It will prob get worse before it get's better unfortunately.

My concern is that Sony thinks they can stop this by arresting all of the Hackers and those responsible for jailbreaking the console. All that will do is piss more Hackers off and cause more problems. I hope they can look at their code, see what the hackers are dong, and stop it for good.

I doubt this will ever happen, it always seems like hackers are one step ahead of the developers.

exactly. Most of the top hackers seem to either know the code before hand, or can easily figure it out. Whats odd is that these guys who hack things could be making aloot of good money if they would steup up and work for the right company ya know.

I'm sure some do.. It would be my guess that some of the bank encryption and such came from hackers and the military. Not all hackers are bad and some have their work exploited. I think Sony might have had less problems with this if they wouldn't have removed the ability to run linux on their machines. Where is the line drawn for products being sold and then removing features down the road?

 

Also the anti counterfeit measures in the American dollar comes from counter fitters that have been caught.
