BLACKCLOUD-- Posted March 23, 2011 Report Posted March 23, 2011 Is it just me or did the running speed up?// Quote
Crusty_Demons Posted March 23, 2011 Report Posted March 23, 2011 It's possible they have been making some changes on the server side. For example the changes they made from 7 rounds to 11. Sent with a flux capacitor at 88 miles per hour via Tapatalk Quote
Peebrain Posted March 23, 2011 Report Posted March 23, 2011 I thought the running speed was different between classic and respawn... Quote
IRISH BULL Posted March 23, 2011 Report Posted March 23, 2011 I thought the running speed was different between classic and respawn... faster movement and higher damage In some game types, the speed is increased. Depends on the day and what game mode. Also, did they reset the stats? Quote
hLx INSIDIOUSx Posted March 23, 2011 Author Report Posted March 23, 2011 What stats? Because I noticed that some of the weapon damage has changed a bit. Quote
hLx INSIDIOUSx Posted March 25, 2011 Author Report Posted March 25, 2011 They updated the frags, they blow up much faster now. No more one man mortar team:( Quote
willywonka159 Posted March 28, 2011 Report Posted March 28, 2011 I don't get how to use my mic on this game. Quote
Peebrain Posted March 28, 2011 Report Posted March 28, 2011 (edited) @ willy - Up on the d-pad is for the team mic. The open mic is a proximity mic only. (I think this is how it works, please correct me if I'm wrong.) Something that I noticed the other day is that you don't have a penalty for team kills or suicides in suppression which is stupid. LPK was in a friendly clan match when the other team had a team kill, well in the end it was 1v1, but since they had a team kill, we only killed 3 of them so the score for the round was 4-3, and we lost the round. The war ended in a tie because they got that cheap victory instead of another draw, which would have given us the 5-4 victory. This scoring needs to be fixed but a simple -1 for team kills or suicides to make the wars fair. Edited March 28, 2011 by Peebrain Quote
xCaptKirk Posted March 28, 2011 Report Posted March 28, 2011 Has anyone noticed the team mic is kinda glitchy. The proximity mic is fun because you can trick people that you know are listening...hehe! Quote
hLx INSIDIOUSx Posted March 28, 2011 Author Report Posted March 28, 2011 Yeah the socom push to talk blows. Quote
DevilHawk34 Posted March 28, 2011 Report Posted March 28, 2011 Correction its tapp to talk Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk Quote
willywonka159 Posted March 28, 2011 Report Posted March 28, 2011 You tap up, but the duration of the mic is like 10 seconds automatically? Seems weird to me, since I just want to say 3 words and it's left hanging for 9 more seconds. They need to change that. Quote
hLx INSIDIOUSx Posted March 28, 2011 Author Report Posted March 28, 2011 It should just be open mic. Quote
BigMoneyNacku Posted March 28, 2011 Report Staff Posted March 28, 2011 It should just be open mic. I personally hate open mics. I don't need to hear someone's wife yelling at them, or the baby they are neglecting crying in the bg. Quote
DevilHawk34 Posted March 28, 2011 Report Posted March 28, 2011 I'll let the open mics for respawn go but classic needs to be push to talk. Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk Quote
l-Stonewall-l Posted March 28, 2011 Report Posted March 28, 2011 yeah classic needs push to talk.... Dunham put up a poll on what type of mics we want in classic.. I hate open mics with a passion, they need to take the mic system from confrontation and use it:) Quote
Peebrain Posted March 28, 2011 Report Posted March 28, 2011 I'd be happy with the *BLEEP* *BLOOP* of Socom 2!!!! Quote
hLx INSIDIOUSx Posted March 28, 2011 Author Report Posted March 28, 2011 I prefer open mic, whenever im online im with my team, so I dont have to worry about someone being disrespectful on the mic. Quote
Crusty_Demons Posted March 29, 2011 Report Posted March 29, 2011 Yeah the socom push to talk blows. This is what happens when people try to reinvent a perfectly good wheel. Sent with a flux capacitor at 88 miles per hour via Tapatalk Quote
