We buy our dogs from the military k9 academy. Each comes well trained in German commands, like 30 commands and they cost about 25k each. Then we go through a training period in house to get to know the dog we work with.

I fuckin' love dogs, but I'll tell ya, being a firefighter/medic and working around our PD. Whenever a K9 officer has their dogs out with us (or even in the back of the squads), I stay the fuck away from them. Those dogs are the epitome of beasts. I look in the squad car window at them and they look like fun playful dogs but I know that the only thing running thru their heads is "come on, let this door open, I'm gonna eat me a firefighter today!". Lol F-that!
