Ill strongly consider bringing my guys for it if theres the right amount.

As stated in this weeks Sit Rep, there are plans for the BF3 tournament once we confirm that clans will be able to match up... we have been burned by EA before so we need to see it before we are 100% sure

Responding to a fan question on Twitter, gameplay designer Alan Kertz confirmed that only copies of the game purchased new will include full access to its multiplayer.

 

“You can also purchase an online pass for a used copy,†he said.

 

Asked why users have to pay to play a second hand game, Kertz responded:

“Because servers cost money, and used games don’t make developers any money.â€

 

The move is not unexpected as executive producer Patrick Bach had dropped strong hints – and because EA has implemented Online pass systems in most recent high profile releases.

No private match infrastructure so far but than again I'm not in a clan on BF3 and I think you need a clan...

Get Battlelog I hear thats what e sports guys are using,l. In BC2 they had private matches where all unlocks were available no matter what rank you were (to even things). It req'd 8 ppl to start and u cant change match perimeters

I have two of them. I was like I owned a DICE member epic win lol.

 

As far as private matches go your better off finding a empty server. Theres filters for sizes.

I've seen rumors where they could Rent out servers. Even on the consoles.

If you look at the servers they list owners. All of them are Dice. They said they weren't charging for the battlelog service but they could make bank off of renting the servers.

silkdragon is who I stabbed tonight. I was looking at the tags I stole in battlelog and was like"WTF". That was awesome and random.
