Directors shane Posted January 7, 2013 Directors Report Directors Posted January 7, 2013 (edited) In late 2011 we retired the Ranger program, at the time with all that was going on the program lacked the attention needed to be successful. We have spent the last year getting Urgent Fury on track with tournaments and now its time to recruit some new Rangers. If you are interested in becoming a Ranger, click here and fill out this form . Be sure to explain why you would be a good Urgent Fury Ranger. It is important to note that if you are staff, moderator, admin, owner, etc of another tournament site you will not be considered to join the ranger team. This will be a very small exclusive team of Community members dedicated to help Urgent Fury grow and interact with the community. What is a Ranger. A US Army Ranger represents the elite members of the branch of service they represent. Akin to the black beret they wear, the beret is just a symbol which points to the reality that we, the Rangers, are the elite of the Army. Always have been and I expect always will be. As such it is our responsibility to do as our motto says and "lead the way." To not allow ourselves to become mired in the old "us" vs. "them" games. Instead we must work towards unifying the whole Army, encouraging all soldiers to strive to be as we are, The Best. Assisting at all levels of command so that each and every soldier accepts the fact that he or she is absolutely essential to the accomplishment of the Army's mission . The Ranger program is our promotional street team of sorts, but instead of passing flyers out around town, they visit different communities that would be interested in a particular event such as a Call of Duty Tournament.
