One more record for The Dark Knight

We all know that the Dark Knight set the record for the most money ever at a midnight release with $18.5 million dollars (not including 3 AM or 6 AM, only midnight) and that it had the record for the most theaters it was released in with over 4,000 theaters.

 

Looks like it just set another record for the most money in opening day (24 hours). It beat out Spiderman 3 which had 59.8 million. Dark Knight had between 60 and 63 million in 24 hours.

Holy Crap!

 

Dude, Last night I went to see this at the 1245 showing, and it was a Packed theater.. I got there like an hour early, just to make sure I got good seats (which i did)

 

But I can only imagine how much money theyre rakin in if other threaters were anything like this one was

lol. I went an hour early for the friday 10 am show.... and there was a line all around the mall lol

 

thats ucks, i will paobably see it next week when there isnt a lot of people or a huge line.

No not the people who worked on it, but the rich people who funded it are now richer. :-\

 

 

And those people wont start making any profit until after they make back the $180 million budget. Although with $66.4 million in the first 24 hours, it wont take to long.

ahh lucky you, i wanna move to said small town, tickets in my movie theater, are still sold out.
