does anyone know where to get a program to take screen shots of things on ur puter?

...there is a button on your keeboard to take pics it should be on the top right labeld "PrtSc" or PrntScreen and then after you hit that button, go to paint or adobe and paste it, because its on clipboard, if ur in paint u gotta have the square outline cutter thing selected to paste. and Shift+PrtSc will take a pic of only the active box on your screen nomatter how big.

ok i click the prtsc button. I open paint i click the square thingy lol and then i right click and highlite paste? Cause its not doing nothning

ya, when u open paint just click the top right button from the list of tools on the left side, after you click that, right click on the white paper thingy and hit past, all of this after you hit the prtsc button.

do you have vista? that may have something to do with it.

A free screen capture without all the extras is zabgrab, it just an executable button no install.

 

If you want to get fancy dancy snag it is pretty bad ass, pretty cheap you can also download a test trial of it.

If you're on a laptop, you might have to hit the function key before you hit prntscrn
