It is because you are using either an old form of explorer or someone didn't put their code in right.

i'm just stating that in IE6 and IE7 they appear the same to me...grey in the background...to where mine is transparent

havoc that is because yours is a .gif file while ours is a .png file. the older versions of IE do not support the .png file form. Unlike firefox or the v.7 of IE.

 

Trust me when I say it is you not us with the problem. Unless someone else is using an older version IE you will see the transparency layer of the sig.
