Dish or Direct?

Yeah, Tivo's are hand down the best dvr's. Direct used to have a contract with them, but decided they could make their own for cheaper and dropped them. My old Tive could record 2 shows while I watched a third. Plus I never had ANY of the freezing problems with the interface the new dvr's have.

Does the at&t 4 channel record dvr work for Direct because a at&t operator was the one who offered it.

I dunno. Ask that rep you were talkign about. The ones made BY Direct tv are shitty as hell.

Personally i liked Cable when i had it.. plus the "Moxie" box was pretty cool. (Charter's new style DVR)

Im looking forward to the upgraded internet lol I can download my porn while playing and messing up my connection lol. They say im going to be upgraded to 30 down and atleast 15 up speed I hope so.

I miss my DirecTV!!!!!!

 

I can't wait till I get out of this housing area so that I can get my DirecTV back....I'm going to have to start over from scratch because we had to cancel due to the rules here in base housing....I had a Premium package with HBO and Showtime, NFL Sunday Ticket and over 120 some odd HD channels for less then 200...No one is going to beat that....I was planning on adding NHL Center Ice and Setanta Sports before we had to cancel...Price for all that would have been around 220...However, well worth it!!!!!!

Actually I was online chatting with a sales rep as I was looking at the deals they popped up and asked if they could help me lol. They had 156 for the premium package (All channels and all HD) plus Sunday ticket 2 HD (1 DVR) and 1 regular receiver.
