According to the October issue of the Official PlayStation Magazine, it's rumored that Square Enix will not only reveal Kingdom Hearts III at the Tokyo Game Show, but announce the title as a PlayStation 3 exclusive. “Kingdom Hearts III is currently in development as a PS3 exclusive and will be announced at TGS.†-OPM Image Rumors have been circling this title since early last year, with speculation coming from both viewers at the Square Enix Party in the Closed Mega Theatre in 2007, and players who beat Kingdom Hearts 2 and unlocked the secret trailer. With the Tokyo Game Show set to begin on October 9, it won't be too much longer until we verify or disprove this information.

During the PAX 08 convention, Sucker Punch gave a live walkthrough of a latest build of inFamous, a new sandbox title in development exclusively for the PlayStation 3. In the video the developers show how players can make their way around the city by using trains, climbing buildings, and running amongst the civilians on the streets. Also shown is how players can utilize energy from power sources like lamp posts and telephone booths to charge Cole's powers. As you'll see in the walkthrough, Cole is not the only person who was granted superhuman powers by the massive blast that goes off at the beginning of the game, as players will need to battle others within Empire City that demonstrate similar telekinetic powers. According to FNAC.com, a French retail website, Sony will be releasing an 80GB LittleBigPlanet PS3 Bundle in Europe for €399. The bundle pack is set to include: - A wireless DualShock 3 controller - An 80GB removable hard drive - An ethernet cable - A USB cable - An AV cable - A copy of LittleBigPlanet With LittleBigPlanet set to release on October 29 in Europe, expect this new 80GB bundle to be available around that time as well.

Although expected, it's pleasing to hear that SCEJ (Sony Computer Entertainment Japan) has confirmed that Level 5's upcoming RPG, White Knight Chronicles, will be making an appearance at this year's Tokyo Game Show. Also, for those of you brave enough to explore the Japanese website, SCEJ has updated the official White Knight Chronicles site with new concept art, character layouts, and details on the combat system. With the game set to release within the fiscal year, we expect Level 5 to reveal much more than a playable demo in Tokyo this year. Expect to see more on gameplay, characters, storyline and more. Tokyo Game Show 2008 will begin October 9.

If not, Gametrailers.com has posted a off-screen video of the opening cinematic for Resistance 2. The cinematic begins where the first Resistance title left off, showing Nathan Hale being taken hostage by an unknown group of soldiers. Hale proceeds to be shot with sedatives, after which he's told that he's being taken to Iceland where he will undergo tests before being shipped to the mainland. Again, for those not wishing to spoil the opening moments of the game, turn away now. For the rest of you, check out the video below.

According to SCEA’s John Koller, due to the brighter LCD screen on the PSP-3000, the system's average battery life will see about a 30 minute decrease. “Battery life will decrease by a small amount; it’s about 20 minutes, maybe 30 minutes, and that’s because there’s a little bit of a larger power draw with the brighter screen,†said Koller. The new PSP-3000 model is set to hit retail this October for €199 or US$199.

A post on Sony's Official Playstation.Blog has revealed a little more about the upcoming 'Life With Playstation' application for PS3. Unfortunately, Noam Rimon, Development Manager at SCEA R&D, began with announcing another short delay to its release. It was initially bumped to the end of August but appears to have slipped into September. The good news however, is that the application will be completely free and deliver live news reports and weather updates right to the XMB. As is the way with Sony, these won't be provided in a bland list, but instead on a "visually stunning and interactive global map."
