For some strange reason games usually ship on Tuesdays...don't know why. In SOCOM Confrontation's case, that's the 14th. So most likely the game will actually be in stores on the 15th of Oct. but sometime certain locations actually get them and sell the games on the day it ships. So some lucky folks will actually be able to pick it up on the 14th. Like someone mentioned before, the PSN Store is Updated on Thursdays so this is when SOCOM will be added to the PSN Store front. The same thing happened when Gran Turismo 5 Prologue was releases...the retailers had the game a day before the PSN Store did.

Currently the Killzone beta is in it's second phase. Phase 1 & 2 are private and are invite only. SCEA has sent out random invites to members of the Playstation Underground forums. Not to worry boyz...PHASE 3 will be a little later this year. PHASE 3 is the Public part of the Beta. It is still uncertain how the Public beta is gonna go. But I will keep everyone posted.

Yet another great looking map. Can't wait to play a few rounds on it. So far...Fallen has to be my favorite.

I think SOCOM Confrontation will be fine. Now I don't expect a perfect game at launch but I am sure it will not be the mess that the beta was recently. Now Slant6 has some work to do and they have a big mess to clean up...but in time we will get the game we can all enjoy. Really looking forward to the release. New maps, more weapons and TONS of killin'. See u boys on the battlefeild.
