I'm not typically a huge fan of watching other people play videogames; I'd rather have a controller in my hand. This weekend marks one of my favorite times of the year: The <a href="http://evo.shoryuken.com/">EVO Championship Series</a> set in sun-drenched Las Vegas! It represents a chance for the greatest international fighting game competitors to gather and settle their differences, but it's also rapidly <em>evo</em>lving into a showcase of the future of fighting games. My fellow LittleBigPlanetians, I'm happy to report to you all that the <a href="http://blog.us.playstation.com/tag/littlebigplanet-karting/">LittleBigPlanet Karting</a> Beta will begin next Tuesday, July 10th. In related news, we recently had a really amazing group of LBP creators join us for an entire week here at SCEA's San Diego Studio where they were able to get their hands dirty experimenting with LBP Karting's Create tools. I think it's safe to say that a good time was had by all, and the participants gave us invaluable feedback on some tweaks that will end up giving you all really great experience when LBP Karting hits store shelves later this year. The LBP franchise has always had a strong community element so it was great to have the people we're making the game for in our studio face to face talking through their creative ideas and processes. It's only been a few weeks since E3, and the Internet has been set ablaze with anticipation for PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale! We announced new fighters Nathan Drake and Big Daddy, and that PlayStation All-Stars will have a PlayStation Vita release when it launches later this year – so you’ll be able to take the battle with you on the go, or experience cross-platform matches against your friends whether you're playing on PS3 or PS Vita. A lot of people are calling The Pinball Arcade the greatest pinball simulation ever created. At FarSight, we take great pride in our work and we take this distinction very seriously. We are focused on adding a steady stream of great pinball tables into The Pinball Arcade for both PS3 and PS Vita. It’s always a pleasure to get feedback from hardcore pinball fans telling us how much they appreciate the attention to detail we put into each table. We actually own a real, physical machine of each table, which we re-create digitally. Our studio’s rec room and half of our conference room are already full! So full, in fact, that I’ll be moving my favorite machine -- Creature from the Black Lagoon -- into my office to make room for the some others that we just bought! More...

Hello <a href="http://us.playstation.com/">PlayStation</a>, I'm <a href="http://blog.us.playstation.com/author/skillian/">Seth Killian</a>.
