Buy your PS3 Dualshock controller...Yes that means rumble!

I owe all the credit to [APC] DeadCity for finding this link and posting it on our forums. The Dualshocks just hit the shelves in Japan and reviews are good on them. I was skeptical at first about buying one due to the controller being made for Japanese consoles. My fears were quickly resolved when I read an article on IGN that they used the dualshock's on their American PS3. Get these while you can for this price and you won't have to wait until late spring for the release of the DualShock here.

At $70.. I doubt I will buy it, but I would love a ceramic white rumble controller!

According to the people HERE, rumble doesn't work on CoD4. The controller works, just no rumble. Look for patch to fix this (hopefully).

 

The IGN article says that rumble works great on Uncharted: Drake's Fortune.

 

I am gonna wait for rumble to work with CoD4 before I buy one... Can't wait.

I can deal with CoD4 not having rumble function right now and having to wait for a patch because when that patch is released it will be worth it. I went ahead and ordered 4, should come in handy.

I have gotten used to no rumble. On COD the sound is so go on HD that when you shoot someone you can almost feel it with the thud. Try the Shotty you can feel it.

Rumble is great for single player I guess... I allways turned it off on socom and would do the same on any shooter- You don't want to disturb perfection when aiming down field 300 meters

You can also by the wireless turbo controllers at wal-mart. They are always handy when trying to get rid of a coder on socom i dont know about other games

When did you order yours? I ordered mine on November 30th and it still comes up as "pending." Does it have to clear customs or something since it is coming from Japan?

I ordered mine from the same website on the 2nd...

 

But I used the Ups tracking, and it shipped straight from somewhere in California.

 

It said that it arrived in my city last night, and that it would be delivered today.

 

Still no delivery though...  :'(

How do I track it with UPS?

Click on "my account" at the top right, then login

 

Click "review orders/track packages"

 

Click "view or change order"

 

Click "track your package" OR Copy the tracking number then go to the UPS website and do it there

 

...And  bada-bing gaba-goo blah blah blah, that's how you do it

When you go to view or change order there is a light blue box that says "Order Status:," what does your's say after Order Status. Mine still says processing.

I'll try that lol. The white looked bad ass to me. I always liked how white looked on consoles. I had my PS2 custom made to be white and I wanted to get the white PS3 at launch (do they even make them? I have never seen one yet).

I use Vista and I have nothing but Awesome things to say about it...I haven't had any trouble with it and my system is below the minimum requirements and it still has no problems. VISTA ROCKS!

Same, I've got Vista as well, and it works great.

 

I'm sure when it first came out it wasn't where it is today but they update it all the time.
