Need help with X-box

Hey guys,

I have the box hooked to my pc monitor.....I have it set for a high def resoulution or whatever....But my wife wanted to play Rock band on the bigger tv. So she unhooked the vga cable from the back of the box and plugged the component cable plug into the back of the box.....It would play on the tv...So i figured I would have to re-plug it into my monitor and reset the resolution......But I cant get video to anything now...The box starts fine but I cant see any images at all.

 

I also cant get my controller to synce up...it just flashes constantly...I have it on the charger now...so we will see!

 

Any help?

Rooster, just unplug the cable from the monitor, & from the xbox.

Monitors act weird, so you'll have to reset it. (from both ends)

I was victimized twice by the red circle, thus why I sold my 360 and went with the better system

PS:

 

I fixed it....All I had to do was remoze the harddrive while it was on and plug it back in!

 

It reset everything and I now have an awesome machine again. Ill have another awesome machine very soon too!

Sounds like you plan on telling us what makes a PS3 better.. plz feel free to gloat about all the useful things you feel that make it better.

 

And is this how both of your 360's acted before the red circle.?

or did you just think anything out of the ordinary causes the red circle.?

No my 360 acted in 2 completely different ways before they died. My comment was just a tease at what could possibly happen.

 

And I feel the PS3 is a better system because of it's capapbilites which have yet to be fully utilized and the fact that it's a bluray player...and well Sony won the Bluray/HD-DVD war.

 

the "more informed and smarter consumer" comment was just me busting your balls, because if that was true I never would have bought a 360 to begin with.

Well guys its been a while since i really posted anything, but i just wanted to gloat. I've got 2 360's. one for me one for the wifey. A ps3 that SUUUUUCKS. And yes all the games are better on the 360. Sega genesis and saturn. Nintendo. And the piece ala resistance (or how ever you spell it) an Odessey.

when my first 360 crapped on me, i temporarily fixed it, then turned that crap into gamestop for a new elite! sweeeeeeeet.
