American flags used as art on the floor

I agree with you guys that it is disrespectful, but are those even considered American Flags..?

They are very similar, but NOT EXACT, which i think constitutes them as being fake. (still shouldn't be stepped on by punk ass kids, but fake non the less)

 

They have the correct amount of stripes, but the stars are all fuked up.

 

A few of them were old versions of the flag. Ya know, before all 52 were states

Did we add 2 more states to the Union while I was on vacation?

Say what you will about "Freedom of speech" but I would be damned if I let a flag fly at night with out a light... Let alone walk by one laying on the ground and not pick it up-

 

Guess I would go to jail and be a law breaker, cause there is no way I would sit there and let them disrespect the flag and a vet...

 

 

Or let the flag of another country fly above ours.

I posted this story because I'm someone who said the Pledge of Allegiance, not as an early morning ritual at school, but as a pledge of my allegiance to my country. My kids know that when they hear the Pledge of Allegiance or the National Anthem that they turn towards the flag with their hand over their heart and remain quite, as a way of showing their allegiance to this country.

 

Our flag is the greatest and most recognized symbol of the United States. I may not be military but I'll sure as hell defend my country what ever the cost. And if some son-of-a-bitch wants to lay my flag on the ground and walk on it, or fly my flag below the flag of another country, or burn my flag, then I'll step up and do what needs to be done to save my flag.

Amen brother!! Some people just don't give a shit about how much blood OUR flag has soaked up over the years. Who cares if thousands of sons, fathers, daughters, mothers, have died defending it? It doesn't affect me. Fucksticks. >
