WARPIG Posted November 26, 2008 Report Posted November 26, 2008 I'll be getting Tomb Raider for sure. I own every one of them still. Love that series. If I secure mine this weekend I'll let you know. Quote
Rogues73 Posted November 26, 2008 Report Posted November 26, 2008 this NFS is better then the NFS pro street. they brought back the police chases but left out a vidal part. Damage to the care does not affect it. You can craash everything you want and not blow up. Instead they put in time constraints. I am 50% complete as i have been playing it for 3 days straight. Quote
Bandit99 Posted November 26, 2008 Report Posted November 26, 2008 Just purchased Tomb Raider this evening and will give it a go after my war tonight and will let you know. Quote
Guest CROWFOOT_ Posted November 26, 2008 Report Posted November 26, 2008 I like the new tomb raider, its great!... havent played the NFS one yet though Quote
inadub Posted November 26, 2008 Report Posted November 26, 2008 So i grabbed Tomb Raider last night.. i played roughly for about 2 hours. All in all its a fun game.. however i found myself fighting the camera more often then not. It wasnt enough to piss me off or turn off the game, but it was making some of the wall to wall corner jumps difficult.. and even though its funny watching her plummet to her death and bounce off the floor... it does get old. So far i have seen some pretty cool stuff though. Its got a weapon wheel that allows for easy menu navigation which supplies useful tools. I have not much more to report at this time.. there is a lot of tricky stuff to accomplish if your into that treasure hunt style of game play and if you liked the previous Tomb Raiders i think you will like it. I have been a fan of the series but have not played any of them for a while so i cant really judge whats better or worse. All in all i recommend so far.. i will post more as i get farther. Quote

inadub Posted November 27, 2008 Report Posted November 27, 2008 well that depends on a few things... do you like the tomb raider series? is online a feature you MUST have? i have been enjoying it enough to justify my purchase ... and the game seems to have enough content to keep me going.. 1 thing that chapped my ass was no PSN trophies... this is not a big deal but w/ most games releasing w/ them i figured for sure that the campaign would be based around trophies.. but not as of yet.. so i dont want to say its not good enough to buy.. but i dont want you to buy it and not be satisfied.
