Socom officially died today..

For me that is.. lol

 

It was a tough decision, but i finally did it.

I took all 9 copies of Socom..

2 - Socom

3 - Socom II

1 - Socom 3

3 - Socom CA

Plus all of my PS2 controllers, headsets (including my OG Socom 1 headset), etc.. and sold them to Gamestop. :'(

 

It was hard to let go, but i just didn't see any future in it any more..

I kept my 3 memory cards incase i got a wild hair someday. ;D

 

I also sold them 3 broken consoles, 11 other games, & a bunch of cables, switch boxes, etc (i got $77 total)

Trading in Confrontation was the most fun that games gave me since I bought it.

Yea.. the kid who I borrow the PS3 from has Confrontation.. so whenever i borrow the PS3 Confrontation will come with it. ;D (I was going to return it too, but i figured i'd just give it to him for Christmas)

I too am sorry for your loss. Your loss will be someones gain! Socom is alive and well in my house! You did do one good thing and that was support a mom and pop store ;D

When you have a war in 1 hour & your disc is acting up, you dont have time to get it re-surfaced or take the chance on having any problems, so i always went out & bought a new one (or mostly used) ;D
