UF Ranger Team 2008-2009

Approaching our one year anniversary I thought I would introduce the Rangers to the community. The Team’s primary goal is to promote and further the awareness of Urgent Fury’s community and offerings to the shooter gamer world.

 

Over the past year our projects have included full color mini-poster flyer, hand outs, business cards, Virtual business cards, electronic billboard notices, forum introductions, and promotional graphics.

 

We are the community members behind the scenes working to increase the membership and participation here at Urgent Fury. I realize every member of Urgent Fury does this to a degree however the Rangers give a greater focus to the aspect of promotion of Urgent Fury. While enrollment in the program is kept to a low key, at our first anniversary I would like to acknowledge those members that have provided both time and effort towards the Ranger goal. Give em a Hurrahhh!!

I just saw a few Skulls on the list so I wondered how they got there. If you could nominate people willywonka159 promotes UF every chance he gets, includes info and a link to UF in all our recruiting threads.

Send me a pm simih tell me a bit about yourself where your are from, the kind of work you do or where you are going to school at.. that kind of stuff... the Rangers team aren't exactly busy right now on any project. We're in a holding pattern. Basically the Rangers are comprised of very active forum members who have demonstrated the values that Urgent Fury portrays. The team works on promotional materials and formulates ideas and game plans to help spread the UF word. Our primary goal is to get new members, but we also work towards making new members feel welcomed as well as helping the current membership by providing support.

 

A typical Ranger may posses some skills in writing or graphics or else have a bit of knowledge in Marketing techniques although none of that is a requirement since we also like a team that includes members that help in other ways such as a sounding board for ideas or providing their individual opinions and suggestions.

 

We work on things from providing graphics, advertisement ideas, promotional plans, to discussion and evaluation of new titles which may be considered for future inclusion here at Urgent Fury. As Rangers we "lead the way" so we like members that demonstrate some leadership qualities. The enlistment process is done by selection which is based on observed attitude and demonstrated qualities. Clan leader recommendations as well a peer recommendations are looked on in high regard. The program is strictly voluntary both in participation as well as the amount of time a member can contribute. Although enrollment is only by invitation any member that wishes to be a candidate is welcomed to send a request for consideration.
