Steve "Air" McNair shot and killed

Former Tennessee Titans quarterback Steve McNair has been killed, a source has confirmed to ESPN.com.

 

McNair, police said, suffered a fatal gunshot wound to the head in downtown Nashville, News Channel 5 in Nashville reported.

 

McNair played 13 seasons in the NFL, 11 were with the Tennessee Titans. He played his final two years with the Baltimore Ravens, retiring after the 2007 season.

 

McNair was picked third overall in the 1995 draft out of Alcorn State by the then Houston Oilers.

Well apparently he was found with another women other than his wive and she was shot dead as well. They said she was just a friend but who knows, both shot execution style in the head, to me that means someones was really pissed off.

Yep thats what it looks like. Steve was shot in the head and body. She was shot once in the head and the gun was found near her body. Also I saw the police are not pursuing any suspects at this time so I think they are going to call it murder-suicide. Thats a shame because Steve was only 36 and the father of 4 kids.

I'm from Nashville, and I was at the 4th of July festivities downtown...

 

There were more people talking about McNair during the fireworks, then there were actually looking at them...lol

 

We just lost a hero in this town.
