FYI, the NOC has reported a Network Hardware Issue that is affecting our server... there will be some random instances where you will be unable to reach the site. Please bear with us as SoftLayer continues to investigate the issue.

As outlined in the newsletter today, we have moved to our new server and you will find that we have an improved load time here at Urgent Fury as well as many of the other clans that have UF Hosting and VBulletin. Thank you for the continued support of Urgent Fury and enjoy our new ride, she is a speedy little girl!!!

As many of you have noticed right away, there is a little less color on the site today. Well that is thanks to a new direct advertiser. CRITIKIL INC, has requested to advertise their new mobile app and we have accepted as well as giving them a discount, we still feel it will offset the dynamic background advertisements that are by far the highest paying. Thank you again CRITIKIL INC for your support of Urgent Fury and the community.

We are happy to announce that UF Hosting will be adding some new power to our server. As we speak our new server is being configured and prepared for the migration of all sites. Yesterday we sent out a notification to all of our hosting clients to let them know there maybe some downtime in the process but our Server team has advised that it should be very minimal. There will be IP changes with this process as we are changing Data Centers from Houston to Dallas. This will also increase our backbone thanks to a larger selection of providers coming into the Dallas DC. If there looks like we need to have a down time period here at UF, you will find that the site will be placed into maintenance mode on the old server only. So if you come to the site and it is not in maintenance mode, then you are already on the new server. The biggest difference in the new server will be moving from a dual core to a quad core processor and doubling the ram. This will increase the processing power for websites and increase performance especially for sites using VBulletin. We will be offering a new hosting special at the end of this month, but the Endurance special is still in progress.

No worries Red, if you can get it to me this week that would be fantastic... but if you need through the weekend that is ok too.

More from the blog post... so with this being said... if you bought the game because you were a hardcore fan, you have to buy the DLC... but if you are not a fan and a cheapskate, you can go get the game for $20 cheaper and get the DLC free. I say again... horseshit!!!
