LOL chill out, buddy. I don't see why you have your panties in such a knot over my little comment. Everyone has their own opinion and to each his own. By no means am I a fanboy, but I have my opinions. I just made that comment, because that's my opinion AND its in the Playstation forum. If you don't like it, don't come to the Playstation forums.

Funny guy , I simply said "no contest" because I don't feel like getting into an argument about it and bringing up the various reasons as to why I purchased a PS3 over an XBox.

Feel free to go into more detail about this.. (plz PM me so as not to start a flame war on the forums) I am always curious why people feel that way. I have played both, & just dont get it. other than just being a fan.. and not wanting change. And yes CDBS14, the M40 is THE sniper rifle of choice. ;D Naw, I really don't like getting into that argument. No matter how civil, its fruitless. Honestly though, I was not biased towards either company before my purchase of a next-gen system. I never had a PS3 or XBox. I was a PC gamer for the most part. After looking at the two systems (360 and the PS3) there was really no contest. Even though I had a lot more friends on the 360. That's all I am going to say.

Where did you read this on the PS blog, can you provide a link please? I have been all over that site today and I can not see a post in reference to what you are talking about. Thanks. That's you assuming it has anything to do with firmware update v2.40. Very true.... I would like to read that post you refer to on the PS Blog myself to make up my own mind..... still waiting on a link though... I didint provide it for you because Irsh already did above. It's a response to someone asking if there were any reports of problems after a successful install. Jeff Rubenstein then confirms that there have not been.

Agreed. Game stats are always going to get exploited. It doesint really bother me, because I play to have fun and enjoy my time with the clan and the other clans that we play. That's we are so lucky to be part of a stand-up community like UF. I guess for those people that are stat obsessed it matters, though.

Don't be concerned. That's just silly. Issues happen all the time with the millions of PS3s all over the world. The thing is, when a new update happens and its successful and one of these common issues hits, they PS3 owner instantly attributes this issue to the new update. This is usually not the case and is just one of the PS3's few common technical issues. Sony has stated (on the official PS Blog) that they have NOT had any problems relating to update 2.40 prior to a successful install from anyone. I'm sure they've had people call up and claim that 2.40 bricked their system, but they really don't know what they are talking about and the tech guys at Sony havent dealt with a legitimate issue relating to 2.40 after a successful install.... yet. So be at ease!

IW is biased to 360.. that is wrong of them. They are a bag of dicks. PS3 > 360. End of story.
