good pickup for Seattle grabbing T.J. great teammate and he will help out raise the stock on the most talented of the mediocre receiver groups in the league. If Hasselback can stay healthy this season Seattle may possibly fight their way back atop a weak NFC West division. So far the most improved teams to me are KC, Was, and the Jets. The Patriots have made the smartest move though freeing up a ton of salary room. The Broncos and Eagles have made the worst moves so far. The Broncos for even thinking about trying for Cassel when they have a rising star in Jay Cutler who is now SUPER pissed off at the team. The Eagles for not even trying for T.J. and leaving McNabb hanging once again with a less than talented receiver group, which I'm sure he is oh so happy about.

Yea a great game that the only real reason people don't like it is cuz slant6 made it. I think there are more reasons to why some dislike socom other than because /6 made it. dont you mean slant 6 ATTEMPTED to make it? they still havnt completed the damn game. Very true Swerve, you caught my mistake.

Wow I have not heard about this yet. Paul Harvey was awesome, I always listened to him Saturday mornings in the car with my Dad when I was younger. His stories were the best!! R.I.P. Paul. :'(

What else is in the trade? I haven't seen anything about a deal between KC and NE, but I hope it benefits KC more. ;D remember months ago i said it larry johnson to the pats and cassel to the chiefs .......we want a corey dillion type back or a bruiser...cassel might not go but we could throw a nice package together .. i want mikey to stay but as we all know the young guys will be coming in and the pats LB's are a bit slow now a days Well you got half your wish. Cassel was traded with Vrabel for only a 2nd round pick. No way the Pats want Larry Johnson with that salary and attitude. Great trade for KC picking up Cassel for next to nothing.

The Redskins have signed Albert Haynesworth to a huge deal of 7 years at 100 million. 41 or so guaranteed. They also signed Deangelo Hall to I think a 5 year 50-60 million deal. Good pick up of Big Albert, if Taylor sticks around this year they will be a definite contender if Jason Cambell plays well. I don't think spending so much money on Hall was a good idea. They already have decent depth at the corner position and he is a liability with his hit or miss interceptions. Kellen Winslow was just traded to Tampa Bay for an undisclosed amount of draft picks. Good pickup for Tampa if he stays healthy but who will throw to him now that Garcia is gone? Bart Scott just agreed in principle to a 5 year deal with the Jets. Excellent pickup for the Jets who released Lavernius Coles so they have some cash to spend. Still some very big free agents out there to sign still!!

How do you balance gaming and your wife / significant other?!

I don't have a wife or kids but in recent months gaming has really taken a backseat for me. I'd much rather spend time with my girlfriend and my friends going out and having a good time. Thats not to say I don't have a blast playing with everyone here and my clanmates but you have to put things in perspective. Frankly when I look back on my life I don't want to see that I spent every waking hour becoming the best socom player or whatever. I want to spend more time with my family and my friends. After that and work whatever time I have not spent sleeping, I will play a game or two. Life is too short to spend it in front of a tv. -

No drafting.. history has shown that it doesn't matter WHO you use, you can always win. You just have to know the strengths and weaknesses of your teams. I'm not in favor of a draft because it takes away the meaning of the game. I don't want to play all-star games constantly. I say we get everyone who is playing and HAS the game, put their names in a hat (ON CAMERA) and choose one by one who chooses what teams. Another situation has been people wanting the same team, and it was suggested that a one game playoff be played between the teams (Cubs vs. Cubs) and the winner gets the team You're just crying cause your a Yankees fan. Of course you don't want to draft. I'm cool either way with or without a draft, but I think then we should at least draw teams. No playoff for said team just a drawing. Otherwise 10 guys will play for New york and the others for Boston. Except me and Backlash who will battle to the death for our beloved Cubbies.

stopping a dive is possible, just load up the middle and curls are not too difficult either, user control a safety on the receiver, that way the corner is the sure guy you go for the pick. In my MANY games online I have never seen anyone utilize that strategy. Sure some people play like assholes but that is an easy one to stop.

you run fb dives all day on me and your gonna get stuffed. Curls= picks. Madden 2009 is the best in years.

Some of you guys are getting pretty ridiculous with the cop bashing. You know what I've had problems with cops before, so what. I've also had plenty of cops help me out and I've known some heroes who wear the badge. So out of respect for the good ones (the majority imo) chill out on the bullshit comments. Thank you Xanthe, Big D and Irish for what you do.

Kenseth is the man!! My favorite driver now that Mark Martin isn't racing full time, glad to see he pulled this one off.
