Absolutely love the show and can't wait for it to start back up. I loved the season with Jimmy Smits, I forget the name of the serial killer but I really enjoyed that season.

Step 1: Turn off the PLAYSTATION 3 by holding the Power button on the front of the unit till the Power light is red. Step 2: Touch and hold the Power button, you will hear the first beep, meaning the PLAYSTATION 3 is powering on. Continue to hold the Power button and after about 5 seconds, you will hear a second beep, indicating the video reset. Continue to hold the Power button and after about another 5 seconds you will hear a third beep and the system will power off (Power light is red). Step 3: Touch and hold the Power button, you will hear the first beep, again for the PLAYSTATION 3 to power on. Continue to hold the Power button and after about 5 seconds, you will hear a second beep for video reset. Continue to hold the Power button and after about another 5 seconds you will hear a quick double beep. At that point release the Power button. If you succeeded in activating Safe Mode, you will see a message on the screen saying, "Connect the controller using a USB cable and then press the PS button." Connect a USB cable to the controller and the PLAYSTATION 3 and press the PS button to enter Safe Mode. Then you will see the Safe Mode menu. Step 4: We recommending performing the safe mode options in the following order until one of the options works for you. If one of the options work, do not continue onto the other options. Restore Default Settings Restore File System Rebuild Database Restore PS3 System

Ya 5 minutes tops, it took me about 3-4 times though until the freezing completely stopped.

Very much! I had to go into safe mode on Sunday and do a restore because I was freezing up every 15-20 seconds in the XMB. Once I did the file check and restore, it's been working fine.

You know what is hilarious in this whole thing is that people wanna talk soooo bad about UF and how hideous these re-actions to actions are but you can't stop posting here! You left the tournament, I'm assuming the community after the harsh words and allegations. Again something you quit from, left, supposedly aren't a part of anymore. Or, in chimpos case something you were never even involved in and now don't want anything to do with. For once, to those who love this drama and attention, if you really want to make a point, make your decision and live up to it. Leave, don't look back, stop trying to bash something you don't agree with. You said what you wanted to say, made your points, over and over and over. So why do you care what other people think? Why do you want to keep going with this? The ones still here HAVE something to keep posting about, they are still here, they are still playing, they are letting the admins run THEIR tournament. Please spare the references to "trying to let the community know" or making it sound like you are trying to be knights in shinning armor and are doing this honorable thing. It would be nice for once to see the honorable thing be done and people actually DO what they say they are going to do when they say they are leaving. Personally do I agree with the punishment ? No way. I think it's way too soft and something more should be done. But at the end of the day it's not my decision and the only choice I have is to play or not. Why can't people leave it at that and either leave or don't leave ? Why you have an agenda is speculative at best, but in my opinion it's because some are pissed they spent 5-6 weeks trying to prove this, finally did (which is great because I do think AIEL got caught tryin to do something they knew wasn't proper) but now that the punishment isn't as severe as they were expecting they are pissed and left the tournament. Ok, I can even see people doing that and be ok with it. But this nonsense of sticking around and trying to rally the community to support your choice to spend over a month snooping and digging up "proof" is just ridiculous. You did the job, you did it well, proved the point ... but now that it didn't go your way 100% just move on guys, leave like you said and do whatever is next in line for your clans. I STILL hope UF and admins/staff, whoever will look more into this situation and punish AIEL more than what they got. They broke a serious rule, tried to use a pretty weak defense to justify it, but the only thing that is really taken from them are the people that shouldn't be on the roster to begin with ... so what kind of "punishment" is that? It's not one, it's fixing what shouldn't have happened, NOT punishing a clan for their actions. If any of you have kids it's easier to understand. It's like letting your kid steal candy from a store, but his only "punishment" is making him return the candy. You're going to have a problem child if that's how you punish wrong doings.

From being a clan rep and being able to read some of the details of this whole incident .... regardless if I believe it to be true or not, AIEL's defense was that they have been planning a merger with NNN and these were a few of the guys that were the first NNN members to join up with AIEL. Regardless if that is 100% the truth or not isn't really up to me because how they run their clan is their business. However, there is some strict rules in UF regarding who should be on your roster and who shouldn't. It seems some of those rules "overlap" I guess. GB doesn't have any rules about being in the same clan, to my knowledge. So them just saying they are gbr's from the NNN team doesn't say much. Things look weird in this whole situation and I can't say I agree 100% of the decision. I think AIEL got off with a light tap on the wrist for something that's a pretty big mess up. I don't think they should have gotten a maximum penalty but something in the middle.

Looks like a spitting image of the HTC EVO . And tow, I cannot get used to that freakin shapewriter. Too many words that are like usernames and stuff and you have to manually type them in anyway.

I don't understand the battery complaints. I don't see it being that much different from my instinct. I have a car charger and a usb data cable plugged into my pc at work .... that combo keeps it charged perfectly fine.

Drag the white bar down under them. It will open up recent messages, downloads, etc. It's a notification bar. You can launch the applications straight from there, or go find it in your menu. After you affirm those, they go away, or you can select the 'clear notifications' button to remove em from the top bar. Thanks, crazy how much this thing does

Sweet, thanks for all the suggestions tool. Whats up with all the check marks at the top of the phone? Seems to be something with aps you download but how do I get rid of them?

I still cant get it to work, oh well. Any other suggestions, tips, tricks for the EVO Tool? I'm so loving this thing so far. A bit disappointing they charge you an extra 10 bucks per month. I already had "unlimited" data ... kinda shady business tactics to make me pay more just because the phones faster and has more applications.

I did all that but have no clue how to turn off my regular touch keyboard. The shapewriter is enabled, but still no lines appear when I hit letters.

Shapewriter will change everything you know about the mechanics of texting. I'm not sure how to get it to work on the HTC EVO. I have the ap installed but when I put my finger on a letter it just acts like normal texting. I don't see any lines or anything.

I just picked up the new HTC EVO droid and am very very impressed so far. Tons of aps come preloaded and you can download hundreds more for free and even more for a small fee. It's a bit cumbersome to get used to but once you get the basics down it's not bad at all. Screens a bit sensitive but you can adjust that.

Tool, isn't there a new android coming out tomorrow for sprint? I'm in the same boat you were and have the instinct but miss the aps. And I hate the instincts browser. So I'm looking to make the jump to the android.

You beat me to the punch. Stay away from any company offering you unlimited hosting, it's just not true. Read their terms of service very closely and I guarantee you'll find the clause that says once you reach xxx amount of space or bandwidth they have the right to suspend you due to server stress, etc. I've been in the hosting business for about 8 years now and unlimited is just not true at all. Agreed as well with overselling ... although its nice when you are first starting out it becomes a problem.

Are you sure, he mixed a lot of his own beats into this and from what I understood the only sample in the song is the early piano, 2-3 notes I thought from Alice Cooper.

That's what I'm planning on doing. I'm currently backing up all my files right now. I was debating to sell it on Ebay or trade it in on gamestop though. Gamestop will only give me $100 for it...Which leaves me paying $200 to upgrade to a SLIM. If I were you, Id throw it up on craigslist. I had offers up to $350 for my 60gb ... people really want the backwards compatibility. What sucked was, the guy who offered the $350, we couldn't get our schedules to line up so he could come over to make sure it's working, well the following weekend I got the yellow light of death.
