o-BacklasH-o Posted April 12, 2010 Report Posted April 12, 2010 For a 5th round pick this draft. WOW! Quote
o-BacklasH-o Posted April 12, 2010 Author Report Posted April 12, 2010 Why couldn't the Bears pull something like this off LOL?! Quote
Prane Posted April 12, 2010 Report Posted April 12, 2010 BacklasH ]Why couldn't the Bears pull something like this off LOL?! Because the Bears have something called respect. We don't need Santonio and all his baggage. I can't believe the Steelers traded him for a 5th. Thought they could have got more. Quote
o-BacklasH-o Posted April 12, 2010 Author Report Posted April 12, 2010 Eh, idk. He doesn't have any more baggage than a T.O. or Brandon Marshall. His asking price was apparently extremely low too. Quote
Neoblackhound Posted April 12, 2010 Report Posted April 12, 2010 Starting to be a trend let the guy go after a career year. Quote
[-VR-] Tool_Minion Posted April 12, 2010 Report Posted April 12, 2010 I offered a bag of Corn Nuts and a slightly used copy of Over 40.....and was in the running. Quote
RNG187 Posted April 12, 2010 Report Posted April 12, 2010 ESPN said earlier the steelers were going to release him anyway, so they're glad to have gotten anything...WTF Quote
Prane Posted April 12, 2010 Report Posted April 12, 2010 He has just been suspended 4 games for violating league drug policies. I don't want anyone like that on my team. Quote
Xx-CHURCHY-xX Posted April 12, 2010 Report Posted April 12, 2010 The entire Jets organization is taking the personality of Rex Ryan. Rex is gonna take Santonio and slap him back to Earth. Plus, it was probably marijuana (I'm not sure) that he's going to be suspended for since it happened in the past. It's not like he was juicing Quote
RNG187 Posted April 12, 2010 Report Posted April 12, 2010 for a team that made huge improvements, and did really well they're making a lot of desperate moves..no? Quote
Xx-CHURCHY-xX Posted April 12, 2010 Report Posted April 12, 2010 Desperate? How so? It's not secret that the Jets weakness is still their passing game. Braylon Edwards isn't a solid #1 and Jerricho Cotchery is the same thing. Santonio Holmes gives them a solid #1 receiver when he comes back from his suspension. The LT move will always be a questionable one because of the whole Thomas Jones situation, but I don't see it as being desperate. LT is a veteran RB that is going to be able to provide from late thunder when needed. Shonn Greene will only be in his second season and Leon Washington is coming back from a broken leg. LT is going to have a better year than most people believe he will, especially behind that offensive line. The only other move the Jets made was to obtain Antonio Cromartie, and that's not a desperate move at all. They got rid of any secondary players that didn't fit their style of play anymore and added a still dangerous CB to compliment Darrelle Revis. Cromartie isn't afraid to knock someone's lights out, and that's what Rex Ryan wants. And the whole Jets trying to go after Jason Taylor thing is all about the Jets wanting to produce more sacks. For having the leagues best defense, they lacked in taking down the quarterback. Quote

In 4 seasons he has never missed a start. He has thrown for over 12,000 yards, has a lifetime completion average over 60%, and is 18 tds over interceptions. He struggled last year because of the worst offensive line in the league and inexperienced receivers. As for his "whining". That whole situation was caused by Josh McDaniels. I don't blame Cutler and even so has he ever broken any laws or rules? I don't think so. He has been a class act in Chicago. Quote
Phenom Posted April 13, 2010 Report Posted April 13, 2010 That sucks! Now I have 2 WR's on the same team. Quote
