Just from what I heard, when confrontation comes out, with all the custom gear and stuff UF will get its own patch to put on the uniforms thats all.....

seriously, i'd hate to see UF get bought out, or have sony participate in any way, b/c they help us out _ that much, and we'll get tons of new people just looking for some free perks, and that sounds a LOT like gamebattles, b/c i think the number 1 thing that separates this community from every other game site, is the fact that we're this big, we have this much activity and we have minimal sponsors.

 

but thats just my take on things.

My best guess is Sony is considering using UF as a kick-off for a future release of Socom. More than likely Confrontation since it's only (supposedly) online multi-player.

 

Probably sponsorship of a Confrontation Tournament. PS3's to the winning team or Blue-Ray DVD players? Maybe a 42" Bravia?
