Toshiba May End HD DVD Format

Doesn't it always end this way?

Not always.. Betamax is Sony, but it was the better quality.

It just wasn't the better promotional campaign, which IS how it always ends.

Whoever convinces us/the public that it is better wins, NOT always the best.

The best campaign always wins, NOT the best product. ;) (hell, look at politics)

I am starting to believe the "Digital will win" theory.

Maybe buying a bunch of HD disc/movies, etc.. is a waste of time.

We are already able to buy them online & store them on our PC & play them on our new HD TV's (That we all need to own by Feb 09)

So what is the point of storing a bunch of DVD cases.. (i'm already out of room in my two DVD racks that hold 140 each.!!)

PC is the new HD Disc player, & we already own it. (and it will store all of your movies for you ;D)

Not sure if i can hold out for that all to come together, but I think i will need a new video card to get the full experience, which probably cost more than a PS3 ..lol
