Guest KingJunk Posted June 24, 2007 Report Posted June 24, 2007 ....x ]http://www.pcconnection.com/ProductDetail?sku=177117&srccode=cii_9324560&cpncode=10-43344538-2 go there Thats nice but hows the quality for something in that price range I would expect Perfect Images. Ok here is what I got its called a GameBridge I wished I would have invested in these when I had the money but the price range for these are about 1.00$ to 20 bucks. I found mine on ebay so got to ebay and search Gamebridge and see what u come up with. If you would like to see the quality for something like that just let me know and I will show u what I got. If you want a real nice try the dazzle 150 I am looking into getting 1 of them or just search for dazzle products. Ohh btw these things are called "Capture Cards" so you may want to do some research on some. Quote
Chaka Posted June 24, 2007 Author Report Posted June 24, 2007 i use a componet input so will it still have a godd picture when im playing?and will i still be playing on my tv or on my computer? Quote
-AMMO- Posted June 24, 2007 Report Posted June 24, 2007 I use DVDXpressDX2 It is very easy. It was something like $20 and hooks USB to the computer and AV to the "TV out" on your TV. That's it...very simple. Then you just edit out the camping crap and get right to the meat and potato's...and maybe add some music whatever you feel like. You can change the quality you record at as well weather you are doing a small ipod video or a dvd. I also use it to record TV on my computer as well as back up old VHS to burn to dvd. I would recommend this root since even my dumbutt figured it out. Quote
SEQUOYAH Posted June 24, 2007 Report Staff Posted June 24, 2007 Chaka ]i use a componet input so will it still have a godd picture when im playing?and will i still be playing on my tv or on my computer? I also bought a game bridge last week. It is EXTREMELY easy to use and its cheap. I got mine on ebay for 15 bucks, brand new. You have to play the game through your computer though. You basically take the component jacks from out of the t.v. and plug them right from your playstation into a little box that converts them to usb and then into your computer or in my case I use my widescreen laptop. I can however tell you the picture quality is not very good, unless you play it in the reduced screen option which is aobut 9 inches, lol. But I actally like playing on my laptop. The screen is right in front of my face and I can see any movement. Then you need some type of video editing software. I use windows movie maker. It sucks, but at least it does the job of cutting the clips out that you need. I recomend it for those that are interested in recording their matches, for a very little cost. Smokesama from APC recommended it too me and I couldn't be more pleased with the price. Quote
-AMMO- Posted June 24, 2007 Report Posted June 24, 2007 You would have to play it on your computer unless your TV has TV out plugs where you run your AV cables to the little box....mine is about the same thing. If you don't have TV out on the back of your tv then he is correct on playing on your computer since the plugs from your PS2 would run straight to the box. Quote
Guest OMNI Posted June 24, 2007 Report Posted June 24, 2007 hey, thanks for the info guys. I always thought it was far more expensive to record your games. -Omni Quote
Chaka Posted June 24, 2007 Author Report Posted June 24, 2007 how do i record if i wanna use my tv?? Quote
-AMMO- Posted June 24, 2007 Report Posted June 24, 2007 I already told you...lol....Look on the back of your TV...does it have AV out slots? If so then you can record onto your computer while playing the actual game on the TV. Quote
-AMMO- Posted June 24, 2007 Report Posted June 24, 2007 Ok I took a few pictures of how it is set up. I didn't have Socom on at the time but this should give you the idea. The AV plugs from the TV out to the DVDXpressDX2 box. Then the USB from the box to the computer. That simple. To do video games all you do is hook your games to the TV and play. It is that easy. I just showed Spike TV in the pictures. Does this help? Quote
Guest OMNI Posted June 24, 2007 Report Posted June 24, 2007 Hell yeah, now just to clarify.... All I need to record video games on my computer, if I have AV out on my TV, is to get a DVDXpressDX2 box.....right? I imagine I can get one from Best Buy...right??? -Omni Quote
-Rooster- Posted June 25, 2007 Report Posted June 25, 2007 I do the same...But I DONT have Tv out. I just split the line from my ps2 and plug one end into the tv and one into the dvdexpress. This is done with just a Y rca cable. Very easy. Quote
-AMMO- Posted June 25, 2007 Report Posted June 25, 2007 Yeah ...I got mine at Walmart actually. ;D Quote
-Rooster- Posted June 25, 2007 Report Posted June 25, 2007 mine came from http://www.tigerdirect.com Quote
Guest -Fury Posted June 25, 2007 Report Posted June 25, 2007 Ask that Fury kid, I heard he has made a few videos in his time.. only he don't play socom no more so Good Luck finding him Quote
xREVERENDx Posted June 25, 2007 Report Posted June 25, 2007 what about recording on my DVR cable box than transfering to my computer later. Quote
Epidemic Posted June 25, 2007 Report Posted June 25, 2007 You need a decoder in order to do that. I still have not found a decoder to this day. Cuz Quote
Guest Skipper Posted June 25, 2007 Report Posted June 25, 2007 Alright, I have a red Dazzle but never hooked it up. Tell me if this is all I need to do: 1. Hook Dazzle up to AC inputs on TV 2. Us PS2 component cable (with S-video) to Dazzle 3. Plug Dazzle USB into computer 4. Make another post on here on why it didn't work..lol Do I have this right? Quote
xREVERENDx Posted June 25, 2007 Report Posted June 25, 2007 .Cuz_ ]You need a decoder in order to do that. I still have not found a decoder to this day. Cuz Thanks for the info cuz....I asked because my buddy records PPV movies and then burns em to disc on his computer.. Quote
Guest Harley-Man Posted June 29, 2007 Report Posted June 29, 2007 I also have a gamebridge. It's just a simple installation into your computer or laptop and you'll be recording in no time for only about $15. Goto ebay.com and type in gambridge. It'll take you right to it. Quote
[SHO]_.-MAVERICK-. Posted June 29, 2007 Report Posted June 29, 2007 Thank you for the info boys. The past couple months I have been recording to VHS, transferring to DVD with a DVR, then ripping it onto my computer. Big pain in the butt. I didn't know there was a cheap, reliable solution like the Gamebridge out there. Thanks again! Quote

Guest umerfonz Posted June 30, 2007 Report Posted June 30, 2007 You gotta talk to DAMSTR8 about that. He's pretty easy to find on our clan website: http://www.stormwatchclan.com Quote
