Kobe = ball hog for no reason. Hes no Lebron at least when Lebron hogs the ball its cuz his team sux Kobe does it cuz hes a bitch. Kobe not the best Lebron could take his team to the playoffs and get to the final game by himself Kobe needs some tall person just to make it anywhere. Kobe = garbage. The only reason they beat the Spurs is cuz Genobly was injured thats another 20 points they would have to worry about Spurs are gonna be Champions again best playoff team ever they aren't even trying right. Go Spurs.

No I just hate seeing his name with Jordan or Lebron when he is not even close. Jordan and Lebron passed the ball,Well Jordan had a team behind so he could I still don't get why Lebron passes the ball Ben Walles is the only one he should pass to. Im a Spurs fan I hate all Cali basketball teams I hate Sacramento and the Golden state warriors.

I took your advice Marauder and if you pause the movie right as the car enters the scene, the car appears to be a few feet to Kobe's right side, like it's a few feet farther from the camera than Kobe is, and if you pause it off and on all the way through you can pretty much view the same thing, leading up until after the car passes Kobe, and as he lands you can see him land a few feet closer to the camera. It also looks as though the care might be steering to the left of Kobe once it passes him, suggestions it started on his right side opposite the camera.

 

I'm no expert but it's worth another look.

You obviously don't pay much attention to the Lakers, then. Kobe WAS a ball hog a year or two ago. If you haven't realized, Kobe doesn't put up his daily 40 points like he did before. He's at a constant 20-30 points a game with Pao Gasol also putting up 20. Kobe passes the ball more than anybody now.

 

Not to mention that Lebron took his team to the finals because the East SUCKS. Last year was Cavs Pistons. Ok. What other team in the East proved to be any type of competition. For Kobe (last year) to have no team whatsoever and get into the playoffs in the West, that's the signs of a true player. Kobe can EASILY be put in the category with Jordan. Until Lebron can bring home the trophy, he's not in that class.

..I'm sure that the Spurs aren't trying. I'm pretty positive that the Spurs don't care about home court advantage and don't want to be a higher seed. Ginobli being out meants nothing. The Spurs starting lineup shows Duncan, Parker, and Bowen all besides Ginobli. You can't start making excuses as to why they lost. The Lakers shut them down because their second-half defense was monstrous.

 

Definitely seems like you're just frustrated that the Lakers beat the Spurs with .4 seconds on the clock a few years back..

I would not put him in the same bracket as Jordan, Kobe can put points up but he is not the person or player jordan was. I dont see kobe having the dedication that jordan did and going out in the playoffs with over a 102 degree fever and putting up 30 points in the second half. I dont see kobe being able to WISELY use every single player on his team and create the kind of chemistry the 89-92 bulls had. I just cant anybody caring as much as he did and being able to not only put up points but make the players he played with better while doing it. Dont tell me its cause he had a great team cause while they were talented they did not play nearly as well after jordan retired.

Eh, I don't doubt Kobe's skill. He's a very skilled player. Not a fan of his, it's just the case.

I will always have a place in my heart for Jordan above many other athletes. Jordan had a LOT of talent...but he didn't need to showcase it in some stupid video of his acting like an assclown with something to prove by jumping over a car in a self-made video. He took his skill to the court.

 

Same with Walter Payton, which I always loved. Guy was a fucking WORKHORSE when it came to plowing through defenses and getting the touchdowns. Never once did an endzone dance. Handed the ball to the ref and went back to get the job done again. Everyone else that runs in there thinking it's Improv Night or some shit (T.O. and Moss especially comes to mind here) take away a little of their own stoic legacy, I think.

 

My own opinion, though.

There's just something very unappealing about arrogance. Always has been.
