Attention all UF Community Members!

 

If you're behind on current events here at Urgent Fury, you'll be good to know that UF has just released a "media kit" at http://www.urgentfury.com which gives you an official UF4 PoW Sig Template, of which a few people here have already utilized, as well as the official UF fonts to accompany.

 

Sniper and I have decided to throw out a little competition for all you creative artists out there!

 

Running now through July 17th 2007 (approx. 1-1/2 weeks), we'll be running a CONTEST to see who can create the most creative, crisp and exciting sig for themself and fellow clan / forum members here at UF. On July 17th, Sniper, myself and the rest of the UF admins will vote on who we believe created the BEST looking UF sig for themselves and that winner will receive a SIGNATURE and TAILORED sig courtesy of the sig-master and web-master himself: SNIPER.

 

Sniper will work with the winner's ideas on a great sig and that winner will get the star treatment that only UF admins get to show off, and that's Sniper's artwork on your very own sig! Complete with your clan tag, tag line and original border created by Sniper himself!

 

The requirement is that you USE THE SIG MATERIAL FOUND IN THE UF MEDIA KIT, able to be downloaded from the UF Official Website. There is no limit to how many sigs you can create for people, but we will only judge those sigs WORN by the individual here on the UF forum. Want to make sure yours sticks out at us? Then wear it with pride here and on other forums to get the most exposure!

 

There will be a THREAD at the top of the public section, stickied, that will be used to POST the work you've done.

Submissions can be posted on the top thread at ANY time during the next 1-1/2 weeks.

We don't have to use PS, right? Cuz I'm used to using Gimp (think Photoshop, but legally free, lol).

Smoke you need to smooth out your edges. You have some white there. Just some helpful hints.

the rules say enter as many times as you want, but the sig has to be worn by whoever its made for. if i make them all for myself, do i have to wear them all at once???

No.....one per person.

Here's an artist's perspective for ya, guys.

TAKE YOUR TIME....you have a week and a half.

Don't put it out there unless it's, in your opinion, YOUR BEST.

Make all the sigs you want for just yourself, but KEEP them to yourself....judge them, and then submit your BEST one.

 

If you're making mutliples, then the multiples have to be made for people here on the forum and they must be WORN by that player.

Well since Undertow yelled at me for posting this in the submission forum I will post it again here in the proper place.

 

If anyone would like to make me or my clan a sig for the UF contest feel free to do so but can you make it a Junkyard theme sig and we or I will wear it for quite sometime. If you do it for the clan more people will wear it but if u do it for me I will just wear it.
