[LA]Edmaster Posted August 16, 2007 Report Posted August 16, 2007 Man, I can't stand when that happens. Quote
SOTG Zero Posted August 17, 2007 Report Posted August 17, 2007 Has anyone read the new Bourne books by Eric Van ?????????. I forgot his last name. The book is The Bourne Betrayal and theres another... Anyone read them? Quote
[PHS] Pai_Mei Posted August 17, 2007 Report Posted August 17, 2007 Eric Van Lustbader...He continued the books? That'll kinda be an interesting read. Eric wrote alot of fictional books about the kuji-kiri ninja...also a great author. But he isn't really an espionage writer. Maybe i'm not thinking of the same Eric Van ?????? though either. Quote
MedicSgt Posted August 17, 2007 Report Posted August 17, 2007 I might have to check that out. If you want to read a good book read "Lone Survivor" or "Hunting The Jackal". Quote
Red0ctobeR Posted August 19, 2007 Report Posted August 19, 2007 TF-Zero ]This is the best trilogy, EVER! Its the same story that rolls from movie to movie. Unlike Star Wars or The Godfather, its not just the same characters, but the same storyline. Its great... Bourne is the man. I wonder if they any more Robert Ludlum books will become movies. It has already been said that this is the last Bourne movie. I need to see this one in the theater, because like you guys have been saying...I have heard the same thing elsewhere. I enjoyed the first two, this should be icing on the cake for me. Quote
[PHS] Pai_Mei Posted August 19, 2007 Report Posted August 19, 2007 It has already been said that this is the last Bourne movie. it is the last Bourne movie yes...But Ludlum has written many good spy thrillers. The Osterman Weekend, or the two Matarese books..The Materese Circle and The Materese Countdown. Aquataine Progression, Apocolypse Watch...And many, many more. When it comes to spy/espionage books, Ludlum is the Stephen King of the Genre. And if you are into Fantasy books, check out Terry Brooks and start from the beginning. Quote
[cK]BIGBOSS190 Posted August 19, 2007 Report Posted August 19, 2007 very good movie, there was alot of action throughout the movie so that was a plus. Quote
o-BacklasH-o Posted August 19, 2007 Report Posted August 19, 2007 Red0ctobeR ]It has already been said that this is the last Bourne movie. Really? Damn that sucks. Quote
[101] Trigga47 Posted August 19, 2007 Report Posted August 19, 2007 Well where would they go with it? lol... It's like having spiderman 7... ... he's taking revenge on the guy who rode by on his bicycle and didn't stop his uncle's murder because he didn't see him DUN DUN DUHHH... Quote
-Wu-Rusty Posted August 20, 2007 Report Posted August 20, 2007 True that, but it would be awful if they made a 4th. Quote
o-BacklasH-o Posted August 20, 2007 Report Posted August 20, 2007 I don't know man, they did leave the door open for another. Quote
Peebrain Posted August 20, 2007 Report Posted August 20, 2007 Somewhere i heard they were supposed to make more spiderman movies. Maybe it'll be like the land before time and have 7 sequals. Quote
[LA]Edmaster Posted August 20, 2007 Report Posted August 20, 2007 If you guys are looking for good action/espionage books, Tom Clancy is one of the best. I suggest his older books like "Patriot Games" and "Hunt for Red October." Quote
MedicSgt Posted August 21, 2007 Report Posted August 21, 2007 Tom Clancy is good if you want a fiction book, but there are books out there like the two that I listed that are of real life operators and operations that are better. Quote
