  6. No need to scan that headline twice and make sure you read it right – UNCHARTED 3 is real. This morning, Entertainment Weekly revealed the next chapter in the critically-acclaimed, top-selling UNCHARTED franchise – UNCHARTED 3: Drake’s Deception. UNCHARTED 3: Drake’s Deception continues to evolve all of the core principles we laid out for the UNCHARTED franchise, most important of which is creating an unmatched and extremely compelling interactive cinematic experience. In addition to having a compelling story and authentic characters that all of our fans can relate to as key facets to creating this type of experience, we push ourselves and the capability of the PlayStation hardware through constantly refined gameplay mechanics and technology innovation. Our dedication to creating the best interactive cinematic experience can be seen in our last two games – UNCHARTED: Drake’s Fortune and UNCHARTED 2: Among Thieves. We’re especially honored and humbled that both titles have been so successful, selling nearly 8 million units combined and earning more industry awards and accolades than we can keep track of. We’ve set the bar very high for us to outdo the past successes of our previous UNCHARTED games. We’re looking forward to taking on this challenge to top ourselves and create a truly unforgettable interactive cinematic experience that everyone can enjoy. So, if you’re wondering what UNCHARTED 3: Drake’s Deception has in store for you, we wanted to share some early details. UNCHARTED 3: Drake’s Deception features the return of famed fortune hunter Nathan Drake and follows him through a gripping, action-packed storyline that will take you all over the world. In his search for the fabled “Atlantis of the Sands,” Nathan Drake and longtime friend and mentor Victor Sullivan set off on a daring trek into the heart of the Arabian Desert. But when terrible secrets of this lost city are uncovered, their journey becomes a desperate bid for survival that will force Drake to confront his deepest fears. Throughout UNCHARTED 3, you’ll be taken to spectacular new locations around the globe that will showcase all of the work we’ve taken on to take acclaimed physics, particle and visual effects to a new level. Competitive and co-op multiplayer will return as a key ingredient to the UNCHARTED 3 package, where all of the new features we have planned will combine with our signature single-player cinematic gameplay to create a unique action-adventure multiplayer experience that can only be found in the UNCHARTED universe. Oh, and there’s one more thing – UNCHARTED 3: Drake’s Deception fully supports high-resolution Stereoscopic 3D. We’re looking forward to exploring it all with you in the months to come. Be sure to hit up your local newsstand tomorrow and pick up a copy of the December 17 issue of Entertainment Weekly – you’ll find a ton of additional details on UNCHARTED 3 and the new art shown above in glorious, full color print. Enjoy! Score: 0 (0 votes cast) Urgent Fury Command: More...

  8. With all the hype surrounding THQ’s upcoming first person shooter, Homefront, the announcement tonight via Twitter might very well signify a soon to be playable beta. Video game industry writers have been able to get their hands on the alpha build for the past few weeks, so it isn’t a farfetched notion that a beta is coming sooner than expected. The Twitter announcement was: Make sure to join the Official Homefront Community Site & forums. Good things come to those who show up early… So it looks like there maybe a Beta for this game and all you have to do is join the website/forum. Sounds like a pretty sweet deal to me. If any of you want to get a chance to get into this games Beta just head on over to the Homefront Official Website. Good Luck To All. Here is the latest multiplayer trailer for Homefront to help get you excited: Score: 0 (0 votes cast) Urgent Fury Command: More...

  10. http://www.urgentfury.com/showthread.php/76594-PS3-Firmware-3.55-Adds-a-Security-Patch There are your details Vic
  11. Surreal is a better term
  12. It doesn’t appear Sony has much to say about PS3 firmware 3.55, available … well, now. Why? Because it seemingly only adds a security patch. We’re certain that you will be much more vocal about the inconvenience of mandatory installs, the lack of certain oft-requested features, and the ongoing battle between Sony and hackers in our comments section. From the PlayStation.Blog: “A new PS3 system software update, v3.55, will be released soon. This is a minor update that adds a security patch.” Score: 0 (0 votes cast) Urgent Fury Command: More...
  13. Well, sort of. Murdering Ewoks is the “dream” after all. Lucasarts has put out a trailer for The Force Unleashed II’s Endor Bonus Mission. Enjoy the slaughter below, courtesy of Gamespot. The DLC is planned for release later this year on PSN and XBL for only $1. There’s also a character skin pack in the works as well. Score: 0 (0 votes cast) Urgent Fury Command: More...
  14. As a Pearl Harbor Veteran of New, meaning I servered there in the Late 90's... today marks my 12th anniversery out of the Navy. I had the honor to help restore the USS Missouri when she was moved to Ford Island for her final resting position. I enjoyed my time stationed at Pearl Harbor and I have touched many of the bullet holes that remain in buildings on Ford Island
  15. Back by popular demand…Sam”Doc” Castannon III stops by to talk about his new podcast, and to update us on The Tester (Season 2). Plus, Urgent Fury Command passes along hard dates regarding Urgent Fury:Cold War. And confirms the launch of* a TACMAP tournament event for Call Of Duty:Black Ops for both PS3 & XBox. 16. Sony’s new PlayStation Rewards program — currently still in beta — will have a new wrinkle beginning tomorrow: Quests. Quests task PlayStation Rewards members with performing certain activities, for which they will be rewarded with progress toward Select, Pro and Legendary member status. The activities mentioned on PlayStation Blog all seem geared toward getting players to check out various services that may be unfamiliar. For example, the “Check Your Pulse” quest rewards players for watching an episode of Pulse on PSN, or you could play a specified PlayStation Move game to complete the “Move It” quest. And, of course, the “No Place Like Home” quest involves visiting the central plaza in PlayStation Home. The new quest system should go live in the PlayStation Rewards beta tomorrow. Nine quests will be available initially, with Sony promising more throughout the year. Score: 0 (0 votes cast) Urgent Fury Command: More...

  18. That is correct, I am currently working on an FAQ for UFGL... we still have not really started moving forward publically with UFGL because we are still finding issues here and there. I hope to have this done during Christmas break
  19. That would be something that Tow would do good catch player
  20. Noob Tube to the couch would have been the ending I was looking for
  21. As long as it continues to stay civil, the thread will remain open for the community to continue to shoot holes through this guys story
  22. Correct as the rules state is best of 3 maps... each map being a round... I will have our team make that clear in the rules.
  23. No what you implied with your post is once again I went to each of those sites and posted the press release... now if you want to call this all a fabrication as you have been since you started this post feel free... It sure is comical, now unlike the Socom post that was removed "by you as you claim" I have no problem letting people read as you very clearly make yourself look like a bigger idiot each time you post.
  24. Not so much Vic, I left this open for the community to let Dirtyfail the truth about this community... he felt the need to come into our house and ridicule us. So I felt it only right for the Community to show him what is really going on. Plus I have enjoyed reading the stories that make swiss cheese look unholy
  25. Ohh and you might notice, yes I am the Media contact for Urgent Fury... that is why my contact info is listed at the bottom of every pressrelease that is sent out. And if you take a look at BG's pressreleases, the last one was posted in 2006 or so... they really have not been updating the site.
