Well, with Sony buying out Zipper you just KNOW there's going to be a PS3 Socom title. It's one of Sony's major cash cows so the release is inevitable. And that's probably why we haven't seen the long overdue map packs because they have the their entire resources focusing on this new PS3 title just like the first map packs were delayed when they were working on Combined Assault. -

Yeah, one of the main problems with UF was the length. It would start out with a bang and just fizzle out ending with a lot of pissed off clans and everyone on each other's nerves. To be honest, we haven't had a successful ending to a UF tournament and the length was the reason why. People start getting tired, bored, antsy and that turns into frustration, anger, accusations, etc. Tow and I discussed this over the phone and our two creative little minds started brainstorming and we came up with the perfect resolution. UF4 will remain a scenario-based tournament fighting over territories and with new and exciting gameplay twists BUT with a definite cut-off date within a reasonable amount of time (3 months instead of 3 years....lol) so we will START with a bang and we WILL end with a bang. We are really excited about this and we wish we could've come up with this sooner but everything up until this point since we began with UF1 has been a learning process and we will only excel and continue to move forward. So for you clans that have yet to experience a UF tour of duty, you haven't missed anything because the best is yet to come....!
