  1. It's Seth's fault, Inadub. LOL
  2. I see some good potential for this for clan and tourney stuff...but I'm also a guy who likes to get out and breathe the air of life. I cannot see myself sitting for hours navigating my way to buy virtual stuff and sit in a virtual, decorated apartment. Maybe I'm just of a different mind in regards to Home. I HAVE home...LOL. When I need to buy something, I either go out and get it or I order it through Amazon....so I'm not sure what my social/commercial/recreational uses for Home would amount to (unless we're talking about anything involving UF for our community). But then again I'll just save final judgment when it actually arrives. We'll see...
  3. LOL, I know Dave, I think that's why Shane's comments were tripping me up...because he was essentially agreeing with me but putting it in a way that suggested he wasn't...? I don't know. We're all good. LOL
  4. Now why the hell would I want the UF community to look up, aim and shoot the RAVEN to watch it FALL? That's just sadistic.... And Devil, considering how long some of these posts I've been posting from my phone are, I'm still typing better than half the schlubs out there! LOL
  5. LOL
  6. Oh I do too. But I ALSO get tired of owning your ass all night too. Domination takes a lot out of you, ya know. .....or maybe ya don't know...
  7. Hey, PD, I was TIRED that night! LOL
  8. Seth Luisi and his fucking inability to engage the REAL issues with this game just turns me into a psychopath werewold motherfucker over here.....LOL
  9. Marvel vs DC or Mortal Kombat vs DC? I did not think those two comic companies had a joint game together....
  10. Seth Luisi and Slant Shit a part of these cuts by any chance?
  11. LOL...at3dave, I've worn my Darklite for an 8 hour Socom stint one weekend and the thing was never noticed hanging on my ear. Just my rebuttle. I guess I just had oneof those ears that made the PS3 headset very uncomfortable. The Darklite is an OUTER ear headset, not an inner ear one, and it eases its use in the ear so much. I will always pimp this headset because it is just about the coolest thing I've ever gotten for my PS3.
  12. Fuck you, Seth. Seriously...no lube. Who the hell cares about how excited you are about the fucking trophies. Seriously.....fuck you. I seriously wish I can roll up this stupid update, wad it with some gum and just whip it right into your fucking face you fucking loser. Here's to hoping the NEXT fucking patch this genius comes up with is some stupid compass letting us know which way and how fast the wind is blowing in this game because it's important to know. Oh, I know! We'll alsob need a fucking update so that elevator music pops on every time we're dropped from a game while we're trying to get back on. Oh! And don't forget the fucking update to change the seagulls flying overhead to fucking crows. THAT would just enhance this game SO MUCH! And all these things shouldn't arrive on the same patch....they should all have their OWN patches with about 2-3 months in between so the joyful, excrutiating wait is even SWEETER! Fuck you, Seth. Fuck you and your fucking useless trophies.
  13. Yeah, I still don't why that analogy entered the fray here. Not knocking you, just don't understand where that's coming from in relation to what I was initially saying....
  14. I don't understand your introduction of rebates....? I didn't say anything about rebates so I don't know what you're trying to get at.
  15. I seriously changed my driving habits to where I was riding my bike down Lake Shore Drive's 4 miles to work in the summer and early fall. Saved a buttload of money I would have otherwise spent on gas AND got in much more of a work out every day. Now that prices are going down dramatically, I find I still schedule and map drives so that I make best use of routes and many stops for one trip instead of many trips altogether. Price for gas two days ago here in downtown Chicago was $1.78 a gallon. The oil barons learned a harsh reminder that they control a little bit, but it's only the amount of control that we GIVE them.
  16. But you're backing my sentiment, Shane. Ultimately, the power is in the consumers' hands. Always has been. Always. Do you think the skyrocketing price of gas has gone down because the oil barons found a heart? Nope, it was because they saw consumers were driving less and less, and no matter what they price it at, they NEED to sell gas. It's in the hands of the consumer. Always has been. The consumer sets the very first initial precedent in all things commercial. If you put out a product and a ton of people buy it, you had a good idea (the pet rock). If you put out a product and not only did a ton of people buy it, but they KEEP buying it, then you've put out a GREAT product (the iPod). If you put out a product and a ton of people buy it but it turns out to be such a dud that you get no return traffic, then you've put out a substandard product (the pet rock...LOL). In each case it's the CONSUMERS who set the precedent for the demand that ALL others will base their business model upon.
  17. Shane23, I have to disagree with one very small statement you made. It's true, video game developers DO set precedents, but not in the way you presented it. New games can set a precedent on new creativity, graphics, game engine, re-play value or online capabilities. Precendents that will affect other developers and games by raising the bar. The consumer is the ultimate beneficiary in this tug of war. HOWEVER, in the context you're putting it in, there's ne precedent being set by anyone. No one will look at the complaints about Socom and say 'hey, we can take it easy on that game we're developing now!' No...the precedent set here, the ONLY precedent to be set by a group of consumers, is to refuse to buy a product or to boycott other's attempts to purchase the product by issuing your negative feedback. The internet is great for that. Commerce is driven by demand, THEN quality. Quality can be great at first, and if the emand is there, suppliers can become complacent in their efforts. Remember how big the McRib or Big Macs were about 10 years ago? Remember when tvs lasted for 30 years and not 15 or 10? Until the supplier SEES that the demand for an inferior product has weakened, there is nothing to motivate them to up the quality again. There is no reason for them to try and lure you back. Do you think cereal companies LIKE giving you 'now with 30 percent more in the box?' They're doing that to get you back. So companies only set STANDARDS for themselves and their competitors. WE, the consumers, set the precedent that suppliers can learn from. As a consumer, you need to do what is right for you to SET that proper precedent.
  18. We're going to work on those on a case by case basis. We'll see how sign-ups go...
  19. I believe we have already hinted at something like that....some of you may want to look up a recent thread about something called 'UF: Vintage' and put two and two together.... You need not be the sharpest pencil in the box to get it......I think.
  20. Really? I have had nothing but a GREAT time with the Darklite. I love it so much. Comfortable. Dependable. Loud enough...both ways. Good distance from the PS3. Great design. The only flaw I can find with it is that I can't see the badass thing on my own face! LOL Are you charging it through the PS3 USB connector or are you using the home outlet cable? You know it doesn't charge when plugged into your PS3 when the unit is turned off, right? And really, when do you ever leave it plugged in when your PS3 is on....because you're playing Socom! LOL I have enjoyed this headset tremendously and I love everything about it. My excitement owning it hasn't changed from my excitement when I first saw its design online. I'm very glad I took the initiative of selling the Socom headset on eBay when I did, before they were sold on the shelves, because someone out there bought it off me for $50.....which made my Socom and the Darklite i got for my birthday in Oct all the sweeter. Since Oct, I have not experienced a single problem with my Darklite.

  22. Sounds like you guys were smack dab in the middle of "The Happening." LOL
  23. .....................I had seriously NO fucking idea it was as brutal as that. I knew where fur came from, I knew that animals had to die for it. But I did NOT know it was ANYTHING like that. I bought a fur ONCE for the lady a LONG time ago. That will be the only fur I ever buy again in my life. Holy shit.
  24. What do YOU mean, 'you people.'
  25. LOL Peebrain, the bracket IS the schedule. What's going on with some of you crazy people today? LOL
