I can't remember her name but she was the daughter on Grounded For Life. That's the show. Her name is Lynsey Bartilson. I always thought she was hot. Her and her Mom on that show. They always had them in low cut tops.

That's true. But if this guy was told to leave or come with the police after they ordered him too, he again, does not have the right to refuse right there. He has to follow their orders to leave. If he refuses, he now is trespassing. He is in a privately owned premise. BTW, what this guy is doing is called passive resistance. Look it up if you don't know what it is. You don't have to be kicking and punching to be resisting. Keep that in mind also. I would bet that is how this all went down. They told this guy he has to leave, he asked why, they don't give him a reason he likes, and he tells them NO. When they go to escort him from the premise, he goes stiff or limp and basically starts to resist passively. Notice at the end the big mouth who is told to leave and come with the police. He was the big mouth who was yelling "I would resist too." Well he actually handled that situation perfectly. If he feels he was being treated unjustly by the police, he can take that up with a lawyer. Not the police officer who is telling him to leave while at the scene.

The profession in itself is a double edged sword. The public 99.9% of the time only have contact with the police during something negative. You either had to call them because something bad happened or God forbid is happening to you, OR they are accusuing you of doing something illegal. I'm on my third and final police department. And from all the people I have worked with, its a very small percent that ruins it for the rest of us. My main point for posting on this thread was not to defend the police. It was just to let people know its never a good idea to resist arrest. Think of this. If you decide you didn't do anything wrong and decide to resist arrest, but the cop you are resisting is one of those "bad apple". It can end with tragic results. I don't think ANYONE here would want their loved ones to say..."He's gone, but at least he stood his ground."

You cannot make that judgement from this video. There is obviously a part missing. Now whether its in favor of the fan or in favor of the police, we'll probably never know.

And I'm sorry, just because you paid for tickets to anything doesn't give you a right to be there. You are there on the permission from the venue. I hear that crap all of the time. "Its a public place, and I have RIGHT to be here." No its a private place, that ALLOWS the public to be there. Which can be revoked by the private parties at anytime for no reason. Again, when people say they would resist or they have a right to resist, is absolutely wrong. And being drunk is not a real good defense. If the police or security tell you to leave, you leave. If you feel you were wrongly ejected, then take it up with management. Or if you feel you were wrongly arrested, you take it up in the courts. So now this guy, who didn't get to see the game end, will have to appear in court to answer the charges that do not appear to being dropped. If he would have just left, and complained later, he would be fine. I really think its the other way dude. Its the old adage "A few bad apples spoils the bunch." Cops doing good doesn't sell advertising. But the small percent that are like you said "d-bags with an ego because they have a shield" does sell, because that's what people want to see and read.

Where are you getting that from, because the video doesn't show that. This is what I see, maybe its cutting out, who knows. But from what I see, is some guy yelling "Jets" over and over again. Then the video immediately cuts to him being arested by about 4-5 police officers. So, from what I'm seeing, there is a BIG part of the video that is missing. But if this is the video, you cannot make an opinion on what happened without that missing part. In fact, that appears to be the MOST crucial part if the video. Why is it missing?! Maybe there is a reason its missing, who knows? But you CANNOT make any informed opionion about why this guy was arrested, you CAN NOT. Also, let me end with this. YOU DO NOT, DO NOT, HAVE A RIGHT TO RESIST ARREST! YOU DON'T, PERIOD!!! If you feel that you are being arrested unjustly, that is what the courts are for. NOT DURING THE ARREST! If you do not heed this warning, you WILL LOSE...PERIOD! Do not listen to the douche bag yelling "I would resist too. You don't have the right to arrest someone for nothing." This kind of advice will get you NO WHERE, but arrested with further charges. Again, save it for the courts. Just some friendly advice from a guy who knows. :police:

I didn't care for the game, buuuut, I was in the original beta. I never DL'd the public beta. Your saying its a helluva lot better? And I am making an uninformed decision, if you will.

This should be posted in a sticky for all to see. I froze up and held down the power button to reboot on my 80. It got the YLOD! I never thought about ejecting the disc.... SHIT! I do the same damn thing everytime my PS3 freezes up. I also never thought about hitting the eject instead of forcing a power down. I'll be doing that from now on.
