Wiz You should be aware more than any other clan her in me saying you and your clan are first. I did not have any idea about the clan you were in a war with was short. Please do not think I was insinuating anything about your clan. I was talking about any clan that has a plan like we had to hold two flags and would change that plan when they found out the opposing team did not have enough players and would say to the team. Lets take all three and shot them as they spawn up. We at DaRk go in with the intent to hold two and never change from that. If the opposing team is trying to capture one of our two, we will try to capture the other as we are losing one. I know your guys are extremely disciplined in following your leadership skills and I admire that. I am just not for making a game miserable for any team. Usually after any game most people forget about the score rather quickly unless it was totally one sided. Myself I would rather win every match by one point but sometimes things are one sided. I not pointing the finger on right or wrong. I just saying there are some who like to see both sides have fun.

I have found out that the competitiveness in video gaming is no different than contact sports. While watching other clans play and going over how other clans won there battles, I have found a wide variety of personal thoughts on winning. In football of a high school coach runs the score up a lot of fans will say the coach is showing a lack of class. Call of Duty has a game mode of domination and if you are holding all three flags you are dominating the opposing team. Since this is the name of the game this is what some clans strive to do. I noticed some clans in a few matches were 8 vs. 5 or 8 vs. 6. I think there are a few clans out there that go in to these types of matches and say let’s hold 2 flags and contain the opposing team in one area. I think having guys that will stick to a plan is admirable. I know there are several ways of looking at a team that does not show up with enough players and one way is to say they should have brought a full squad. I can say this being short a man or two clan happen to any clan and I try to remember that. I talked to a coach one time that his team which had over fifty members dressed out for a football game and the opposing team had nineteen players the score after the first quarter was 30 to 0. The second quarter started and he had 3rd and 4th string in. the final score was 30 to 6. The coach told me after the game (it could be me one day). I am all for different styles of play and I am not saying which is better . I am saying that I like to remember that there are real people on that other team that is trying to have fun and I try to respect that. Showing a team good sportsmanship and not taking advantage of a team being short is first class.

The first post was fine. I sent a email to my rep. A remark about the second post I understood the first post and was going to leave it up to my rep but I have to say as I did in my original post I understood the rules and was asking in a nice way. Please understand me asking for leeway does not mean I have forgotten which tournament I am in. Try to be a little more understanding. Just tell my rep I do not think so, the rule is the rule or your crazy. It was just a question.

It would appear that we have people that do not believe in the American way. The justice system is built on the foundations of reform. You do the crime, you do the time. Your dept to society is supposed to be paid, when you are done with your punishment.

I have a question about dropped players I have looked over the rule and it is clear but I was wondering if UF would give a little leeway? If both clans agree before the start of a match if either clan looses a member that the room could be restarted, to try to get everyone in the war. would both team be in violation in implementing there own rules and no points would be given to either clan? I just would like to see full rooms.

It’s kind of funny how people have the same problem. I have logged in 35 days on COD4 and played 3500 games on Socom in the past two years. I have gotten past the point of addiction and to the point of knowing I have an addiction and doing nothing (Most people just call this being a dumb ass). I recently gave myself a deadline and I plan to live up to it. I have a cousin that has a twelve year old boy who is mentally challenged and in three weeks I plan to give my PS3 to the kid. My cousin can not work because he has a heart defect that limits his walking. I feel that I used to be happy playing golf ,hunting or fishing and now it is time to move on from gaming. My leaving gaming gives a kid an opportunity to have something he would not have had and I will be set free from my own imprisonment of be locked in front of a TV screen. Good luck with what you work out.

Well, there is a lot of information out there on the web these days and like any other situation people take information and pass it around and by the time it gets to the people that need to see it, the information is missing facts. I think the UF crew took what they had and made a decision. Whether I think it was right or wrong makes no difference. The thing I like most about the admins at this site is they rarely contradict each other and stand behind each others decisions. I feel that this type of leadership shows great team work and loyalty. I see no back stabbing each other or negative comments about each other. I am sure if they fell anything was done wrong , you can look for a more improved outcome next time (if needed). Admins thanks for taking my criticism. I think you all do a great job.

X_vip3r_X I could have not said it better myself all of those clans about 40 in the UFC2 tournament times about 20 members each. That such a high number that I can not even calculate it. I can say it would have taken one person the same amount of time as it took me (1minute) to find the correct information. Please do not get over offensive trying to cover up a screw up. I think if you look at any hobbies if something might happen they are quick to postpone (not). It is always easier to disrupt the large numbers instead of doing a little extra checking. Would it have not been just as easy to tell everyone if the network is down then we will postpone. Well here is the always the fact assuming makes an ass out of people and I did not assume. I might not be the ass here but I sometimes can be a jackass, this site in my opinion is the best run gaming site around and constructive criticism never hurt anyone.

I wish people would take time to do a little more research before changing schedules it gets kind of disappointing to be looking forward to a Monday war and it gets postponed due to lack of information. The original post put up on this if someone would have taken the time to read the alternate article, it clearly says you will be able to play online games. Sony has announced that the PlayStation Store will not accessible tomorrow as they put the finishing touches on the brand new PlayStation Store that will launch on Tuesday. So whatever you're doing tomorrow, April 14, from 11:00 AM Eastern Time to 2:00 AM Eastern Time, it won't involve the PlayStation Store. “Although the PlayStation Network will be available for online play, so there's that.â€

I was told the map parameters for week 2 UFC2 tournament are going to be Showdown S&D and each team gets to pick a player from the opposing team that will have to sit out. What if one of the teams does not show up with 8 players. Will both teams still get to remove a player?

Sometimes I just set back and laugh how things work out. Our clan entered the UFC2 tournament with a new look and we had decided we were just going to have fun. In taking this aspect we did not really expect to win much but as it turns out, I feel we have the best team we have ever had by far. This new way of looking at things for me has been enlightening. I think when you put emphases of having fun over the worrying about winning the pressure is off and your clan is set for a wonderful time. I know it is early in the tournament and there are many good clans we have not seen and if we lose every match we have left, it is still a great tournament with great people.

I have played hardcore in the past a pretty good bit. Not as much the past few months but I still play every once and a while. I am a firm believer in this mode equals the playing field for people who can not shoot. I have observe players who could not shoot the side of a barn get more kills in hardcore. Most good players aim for the upper body chest or higher and many players who can not shoot just randomly spray in the general area of a person. Well, in hardcore this works because you can graze somebody’s arm and they are dead. The Main thing I like about COD over the past socom games is the fast pace of things. Hardcore stops the face pace of the game and to me emphasizes which is the better camping clans and who can get the most kills by not shooting someone, I.E. (claymores). We have a lot of people in our clan that love this mode, I just like to some times express what I think about different aspects of the game. What are some other peoples favorite mode.
