lol ok, last post, cause i'm still kinda chuckling over this post..and not looking for a fight. BUT...one of the things I do love about this country, other than being able to pick which one of my cars to drive on any given day, or tanned blonds with shapely buxoms, would be this fact: By utilizing the freedom to express an opinion or have a socio/politico/anykind of discussion on a Public Forum...I am being the most patriotic any citizen can ever be I mean...anyone that would censor or have a "what i want/believe > what you want/believe" attitude...well, then they're just a commie pinko ....you know the rest Go McCarthy!

lol look...national pride is all well and good...but when you become fanatical about it and go overboard..well, then you're just as good game to make fun of as those bible thumping hippocrites like jerry fallwell and all the other evangelists you see on T.V. And its only in good fun, mostly, unless it opens your eyes and helps you see that blind devotion to ideals isn't necessarily the best course of action...and not all wars are fought for freedom, god, and country...some are for oil, some to gain land, some because dicks are swinging and someone's gotta make a point (see current russia/georgia situation).

I have lost more family than you ever will due to strife, war, national pride, and stupid conflict. I have a cynical view of it all because of that. If a flag is all you have to remind you of your family that perished, then I feel bad for you. For me, I have pictures, memories, personal effects, and the knowledge that push comes to shove, their memory...not a flag...not some silly chain letter on the internet...not some country music hick making an "i love this country" cliche song....but their MEMORY...will throw me into action. Thats what I believe in That, and if you're on fire make sure you stop drop and roll

just curious...why exactly is it offensive? maybe for some reason the developers had to reverse the images to fix something in the game, and really didn't realize their error. I highly doubt they said "fuck you american pig dog!" and did it maliciously, and i also highly doubt that A. many people will buy a game about olympics and B. of those, not many will notice and C. of those that notice, not many will care at all
