Yeah, but that is so depressing I decided not to include it. Hell, he was the only back to do anything in Oakland. If he signs, you will be surprised at how hard that guy plays every snap he's in there. I love a good workhorse, and Fargas is a very good one.

LOL. That made me giggle uncontrollably. I hope you get it all worked out Marine, but that should be in the hall of fame!!

Socom 4 Confirmed for Ps3 by Zipper Interactive
BigMoneyNacku replied to Jarhead0321's topic in General Discussion
Like I told ya on the phone. Gamestop is never a trustworthy source. Now if Zipturd or Sony confirm it, I'll believe it. Especially seeing as how as of last night, they were the ONLY ones saying Jan, 2011. -
WTF, Rooster??? > > I'm sending you anthrax.

BigMoneyNacku replied to Jarhead0321's topic in General Discussion
I pre-ordered every one since 1 and they were on time. DLC on the other hand was fuuuuucked, btu the games came out on the pre-order dates. My boss can vouch for that since I've taken a few days off work every time one drops. -
Socom 4 Confirmed for Ps3 by Zipper Interactive
BigMoneyNacku replied to Jarhead0321's topic in General Discussion
Judging by how much of it I know to be done already I don't think a fall 2010 spring 2011 release is out of the realm of possibility. The CD universe date is a projected date and according to Jeremy Dunham they are on track to meet their dates. This is Zipper which is a huge company now not a hack PSP developer who is in way over their head and severely understaffed. Yeah!! Plus, I think MAG was the first time Zipepr had to push back a release date. Socom 1, 2, 3, CA all came out on schedule. TooL just doesn't know. He has NEVER played Socom. Just Confrontation. I am stoked. I can't wait. My two favorite games have releases for this fall. The wife will be pissed, but she'll get over it. Halo, I agree 100% that they ignore the babies. I can't even go to ps forums anymore because all they do is cry. Looks like all the female Socomers will finally get their wishes of female character in multiplayer too. It's creamy goodness for EVERYONE!!! -
Dooode, did you see how many 240+ pounders were running 4.6 and less 40 yard dashes? Freeeaks.

I watched the combine the last few days, and there seems to be some talent coming into the draft this year on O-Line. Not as much as years past, but maybe enough to help a team or two.

I think the Bears have other personnel issues. I'd rather they give Forte some blocking and coaching to go along with it. Look what Benson and Orton pulled off last year. I don't live in Chicago, but I can't imagine that their performances went overlooked by the locals. Thomas Jones needs a home now too. :-\ Thomas Jones should never have left in the first place. I still argue that was the worst trade I've ever seen. Bears definitely need to make some moves this offseason. There are some good players out there so we'll see what happens. Julius Peppers anybody? ;D The Bears MUST concentrate on the O-Line, to even be competitive. Forte is golden with a few blocks, and Cutler is effective if he has time. Guy was running for his life on three step drops last year. That should never happen. Ever. Of course, I've read all the articles about even when he had time he wasn't very good, but if you spend 75% of your dropbacks running, it's going to be in your head.

They must have changed the policy? Mine was out of warranty and was fixed for free. Irish, I think it is essentially the same flaw. Overheating causes the solder to come loose. It really pisses me off from Sony. All the damn money they charged initially and the use the cheapest parts they can? Douche Bags.
-
I thought they charged $100 as opposed to $150 like Sony. Nope. Al I had to pay was shipping. Everyone I personally know only had to pay shipping. I don't know if they changed it recently, as mine was in the first wave of failures. Now, they told me if they determined it wasn't truly the rrod, I'd have to pay for repairs, but within 24hours of them recieving my unit, they emailed me and told me it was rrod and would be free of charge.
-
Right?!! I just mentioned that on the PS forums. I mean, they are actually telling people NOT to use their system. I think there is more to this issue than they are telling us. IMO, its a precautionary measure in the instance that they CAN'T repair the issue via an update. They are trying to minimize the damage to ensure less people are effected if they were to have to issue a recall. I say screw em, use it if you can! If you end up busted, be sure they will take care of it! Now I'm being sincere when I ask this, what is the difference between this and the YLOD? I mean, the YLOD is caused by a hardware problem that they installed, right? It isn't caused by anything that the user did wrong. So with that being said, don't you forsee, if there is some sort of "recall", its coming out of the consumers pocket? Basically they would come out and say, if you have model's blah blah through blah blah, for $150, plus shipping cost, we will replace your system. Cause I always thought it was complete bullshit that they charged one cent for the YLOD. IT WAS THEIR FAULT!!! Have you ever received a recall notice about some part on a car?? DO they charge you for the repairs??? No , they don't. You bring it in, and they fix their fuck up free of charge. Sony should have to do the same damn thing. But they won't. I have no problem paying the shipping cost to get it there and back, but that's it. I have no problem with that at all. Expecting them to pay it, would be like expecting the dealership to pay for my gas there and back. But its a big corporation, and they have you by the short hairs. And there ain't a God damn thing you can do about it. Hell, Slant 6 got away with (IMO) a crime with Confrontation. Its gonna be VERY interesting to see how this whole thing pans out. Very interesting indeed. With all the bashing that xbox takes, it shows how much better of a company they are. They fixed the RROD free of charge, since it was a HW failure.

Congrats Canada. That was a great game. I'm not a huge hockey fan, more of a casual fan, and that game had me on the edge of my seat from start to finish. They couldn't have scripted a better gold medal game. It was a good Winter games this year. More heart than I've seen in a few years.

That really is all you've got in your repertoire, isn't it? You're gay You're a Homo Fairy You like penis All that ever comes out of you for comebacks.

You prolly also appreciate Men's figure skating.....homo. Awwww, you had to throw out the homo reference just because I'm not a raging sexist like you? It's not my fault you have mommy issues and think women are inferior.

Women's Hockey in the Olympics is good to watch. We watched part of that game last night, and it was a good game. Sure they don't have the sheer brutality of the men, but those ladies get it on. I'm a closet Team Canada WHockey fan after the Vancouver games. They sure have quite a few hotties on that team!! ;D

Canada knocking off the Russians was awesome. I swear the Russian goalie they pulled was sleeping at the helm. 6 goals on 23 shots? It was an embarassing outing for the Reds. It was almost hard to watch. Almost.

It's nice to see not everyone loses their minds when one of these fuckwads shows up at a school shooting people. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/us_colo_school_shooting LITTLETON, Colo. – The gunman was walking through a middle school parking lot and taking shots at students with a hunting rifle as terrified teenagers ran for their lives. He had just wounded two students and seemed ready to unleash more violence when a math teacher named David Benke sprung into action. Benke confronted the 32-year-old gunman, tackled him and pinned him to the ground with the help of another teacher, stopping what could have been a much more violent encounter in a city all too familiar with tragic school shootings. The shooting occurred less than three miles from where the Columbine High School massacre happened nearly 11 years ago. "Unfortunately he got another round off before I could grab him," Benke said. "He figured out that he wasn't going to be able to get another round chambered before I got to him so he dropped the gun and then we were kind of struggling around trying to get him subdued." The two students survived Tuesday's shooting and one remained hospitalized. Police said they aren't immediately sure about what motivated Bruco Strongeagle Eastwood to target Deer Creek Middle School just after classes had ended for the day. Eastwood has an arrest record in Colorado dating back to 1996 for menacing, assault, domestic violence and driving under the influence, and he is believed to have a history of mental issues. Jefferson County Sheriff Ted Mink praised Benke and called him a hero, and the math teacher's status seems to be growing by the minute. A Facebook page called "Dr. David Benke Is A Hero!!!!" quickly grew to more than 12,000 members by Wednesday morning. Benke, a father of 7-year-old twins and a 13-year-old girl, fought back tears after Mink thanked him. "Believe me when I say, I think he stopped what could have been a more tragic event than it was this afternoon," Mink said. The victims, students Reagan Webber and Matt Thieu, were both treated at Littleton Adventist Hospital, where spokeswoman Christine Alexander said Webber was treated and released to her home. Thieu was transferred to The Children's Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition late Tuesday. Benke, a 6-foot-5 former college basketball player who oversees the school's track team, was monitoring the parking lot in the afternoon when he heard what he thought was a firecracker and began walking toward the noise. "At first when I was walking over there, it was kind of what a teacher does," Benke said, still shaken hours after the shooting. "`Hey kid, what are you doing,' you know that kind of thing." He said another teacher was quickly on the scene and both of them pinned the gunman to the ground. Eastwood was armed with a bolt-action rifle. "I basically have my arms and legs wrapped around him, (the other teacher) has his forearm around his front and we were basically trying to get the guy to quit struggling." "I talked to him while we were on the ground," Benke added. "I was underneath him and his face was pretty close to mine. I asked him, `Why did you do this? Were you a student here?' "He either didn't respond or his responses didn't make a whole lot of sense," Benke said. The shooting rattled a city that was devastated in 1999 when two students shot and killed 12 students and a teacher in one of the deadliest school rampages in U.S. history. The middle school is right down the road from Columbine High School, and is located on West Columbine Drive. Benke told a TV station that he took part in drills after Columbine and recalled thinking that if the same thing happened, "I hope that I could go after him." Investigators said Eastwood visited the school previously and was inside shortly before the shooting. He is expected to make his first court appearance Wednesday and may face at least two counts of attempted murder. Denver station KUSA-TV reported that Eastwood attended Deer Creek Middle School in the early 1990s. In 2005, Eastwood participated in a NASA-funded medical study in which he spent 10 days in a hospital bed so scientists could study muscle wasting, an affliction experienced by astronauts during long flights, according to a story in the Rocky Mountain News at the time. He told the newspaper that he had a lifelong dream of being an astronaut and described his occupation to the newspaper as horse trainer working at his father's ranch. He pocketed $2,200 from the study and was able to spend a week and a half watching DVDs and playing video games during the bed experiment. A man who answered the phone Tuesday night at a number listed for Eastwood identified himself only as "Mr. Eastwood" and said he was Bruco Eastwood's father. He was at a loss for words. "There's nothing you can say about it. What can you say?" the man told The Associated Press. "Pretty dumb thing to do. I feel bad for the people involved." He wouldn't comment further. As for Benke, he said he still wishes he could have done: "It bugs me that he got another round off" before Benke tackled him to the ground.

Zipper working on Unannounced PS3 game!!! SOCOM 4???
BigMoneyNacku replied to Marlne's topic in Playstation
Don't mind Shane. He's been on a tirade since Seth "I can't do shit right" Luisi took over the franchise. -
I would think that a team that utilizes a FB would be the best fit for him. As soon as Norv Turner eliminated the FB position in SD, his numbers went down. LT is still a home run threat if he gets a few blocks. He just doesn't have the ability to blow up tacklers like he used to. It will be interesting to see where he ends up. WHy would the Saints get rid of Thomas? I can see losing Bush for good draft picks, but Pierre is a good back and would have better numbers if he were the featured bak.

Why? Because he's using your trademark fingernail color? can you not keep just ONE secret dude? My bad, bro. At least I didn't tell them the safe word!! :-X

I'll be setting my dvr to record that tonight! Thanks for posting this up, Smokey, I might have missed it otherwise.

Me too. Our office girl loves twitter, and some of the things she tells me about KS tweets are funny as hell.

I finally watched it too. I didn't see it being a direct attack against people with disabilities as much as a crotch shot to Palin. Which in all fairness, is always funny. Now maybe if Chris refused to date her because of her DS, it might have been over the top. Or quite a few other scenarios would have been uncalled for. But for crying out loud, a crotch shot to a politician is always gold. ;D
